Real-time map. Note how most of Africa and Sth America isn't reporting at all. They'll be toast when the zombies march through.

Well that was a surprise, I've just done a dunny roll stocktake & crunched the numbers.
We have 6 rolls in reserve which gives us an estimated 3 Months supply for 2 people. I guess a lot depends on your usage I keep thinking about the bloke on here a couple of Years ago who was looking for manscaping advice, he was growing a fur coat around his ring. I Googled the 'go' rates and it seems there's a 33 rule. Min: 3 times a week Max: 3 times a day Recommend Quilton Gold 140 sheets c/w little flowers embossed into each sheet. |

I read in the papers (cough) today that Woolworths had sold six weeks of toilet paper in four days. All that this little drama has done is to pull forward supply. In a few weeks there will be a slump in demand for toilet paper as consumers start to run down their stockpile.
On a related story in today's newspaper, apparently airport security stopped someone loading 1,000 liters (approximately 1,000 kg) of incorrectly declared sanitizer gel as cargo onto an aircraft. Besides being stupid and dangerous, surely the cost of air freighting a metric tonne of hand sanitizer is completely out of proportion to possible street value at its destination. |

dear beloved (38) years of wedded bliss (?) has always kept stock piles of groceries etc ave 8kg cheese, 4kg butter, 2 weeks bread etc etc ..
you see where this is going, for s family of 3 we have enough funny paper for 6 months, so so tempted to throw a load in the Ute, head into town and start throwing it away down the main drag, videoing it all of course. just imagine the bull shot fighting . Police would likely charge me as an accessory to a gunfight.

I don’t get chest freezers......a friend of mine used to buy milk in 2lt plastic bottles and freeze them for later. Who the actual F doesn’t just go to the shop to buy fresh milk when they need it.
As a kid my mum and dad would buy 12 months of meat and freeze it, it must be a country thing.

Seriously, good on him. Something to do, public transport keeps you grounded, too (no pun intended).
My father was almost obsessed with retiring and physically doing nothing; he’s probably younger than yours and now has the mental capacity of a stoned guinea pig. |

He still travels on cruise ships 4 times a year, (not at the moment though) so public transport is a breeze to him.
Still don't understand the daily frozen bread.

He’s not alone. My parents arrived here in ‘68 - just before me - and haven’t been further west than Dubbo. (That statement excludes the refuelling stop in Perth.)

Apparently, the epicenter of the great 2020 TP crisis (Epping/Ryde NSW) is somewhat calm. Coles and Woolworths currently have pallet loads of TP in the isles, full shelves and very few people in the stores. Go figure.

City of Melbourne sure is gambling with the spread of this virus. When cities around the world are cancelleing sporting events, all forms of gatherings, meetings, etc, Victorian Government is encouraging as many people to attend the Cricket at the MCG, and the F1 GP next weekend is going ahead. 90'000 people expected at the MCG. 300'000 people expected at the F1 GP.
Absolute madness IMO. It'll only take a handful of people from either event to be diagnosed with the virus and all hell will break lose in Victoria. The Victorian government are playing with fire. Surely they're not putting $$'s before sense are they? |

Am I the only one here who feels happy about the two women that wouldn't share their trolley load of toilet paper and ending up in a fight getting an appointment with the magistrate?

Toilet paper hoarders have it all wrong.
You have to think outside the square in these situations and kill 2 birds with one stone. Don't use any toilet paper and you won't catch the virus, as no one will go within miles of you. Both problems solved.

Since travelling to Thailand many years ago, and bringing back what is known as a bum-gun TP is something I do not need.
