That is facts, you know the first R in RRP means 'recommended', not 'mandatory' right?

They're not used cars, they're new ones - look at the kilometres, or is 31km not 'new' these days? Semantics and straw man argument at best.

Feel free to acknowledge you were wrong.

They are used cars.

Toyota don't allow dealerships to advertise "new" ones on carsales.

Its against their franchise agreement.

First car you linked to is owned by Jackson Motor Company Tasmania - They don't sell Toyota.

Second one is Ozzys Cheapest Cars (LOL).

Third one is Stewart Toyota, car has already had an owner and they bought it wholesale.

As I said dont let the truth get in the way of your story.

RRP means nothing now. Dealers call them 'used' to get around having to sell new cars at RRP.

When the **** falls out of the car market, it will be interesting buying a car in the yard advertised as new, and trying to beat the price down because its got 30km on it, so it's used. Dealers can't complain, they started it....

Yes, at best they are only delivery kms, coming from the factory to the ship etc…

Read above. These cars are all used cars, which had an RRP of 75k plus onroads. What dealers are selling them used for means nothing as some idiot who probably ordered them 3 years ago would have paid RRP.

You don’t actually know that(ordered by a previous purchaser) it is a new vehicle for all intentional purposes.Dealer marks up, sells them on as ‘used’ vehicle.

Hackney its against Toyota's franchise agreement to undertake such behavior.

Toyota monitors the market and will breach a dealer for doing so.

All cars on carsales have had an owner and are registered USED cars. It does not get any simpler.

@ 31kms? Either the purchaser has backed out.(perhaps ‘sold’ it back to said dealer) & then dealer has then gone ahead & registers the thing & sells it on as a ‘used’ vehicle. Still a ‘new’ vehicle for all intentional purposes though.

Would love to know how many of these owners were employees of the dealership...

People do it all the time.

Same with Ford Ranger Raptors. The amount of people who have gone into a dealership ordered one and driven it home and sold it wholesale to another dealership is crazy, seems like alot of work to make 5 - 10k. Its only been happening at this scale since covid.

What's the RRP on a dual cab Landcruiser again? Oh wait Toyota don't list it and point you to the dealership.

Spoke to my local dealership about the Raptor and they said they had 60 orders for Raptors but only get 5 a month. What's with that? It's a high margin product, why not pump out more??

F150's will be quicker to get than a Raptor

they are building them as quickly as they can, but we are only a tiny market globally so our share is small

But the ones for sale at dsealerships listed at $100K-$130K with 1-50km on them at dealerships aren't new and are 'used cars' (even though they only have delivery kilometers on them).

Apparently the RRP is $80K?

Just like how the vaccine stopped the spread of COVID and how the Beaumont children are just 'missing' instead of dead too I guess

More chance of Madeleine McCann turning up than getting a new VDJ79 for its RRP $80K (remember, even though its a 2023 model and only got 1-50km on the clock its not 'new').

The DS RAM 1500 Express is on runout with free on roads at the minute which makes it $98950 driveaway. That's the cheapest RAM available these days.
