im up for it guys i should tow a holden up with me to put on the bonfire i have a genset for lighting if you want me to bring it. i also have a dual battery system in the ute for my engal fridge too so i can keep your booze cold too not like you will need to up there anyway

We have electricity and I have a massive freezer and plenty of fridge space in my mansion (large caravan with annexe)...

Just to clear up any misunderstandings, the place were we'll be camping is a caravan park. There's electricity, shower and toilet facilities, even laudry facilities. The tent section (tent city as we call it), is right next to the caravan park, so we wont exactly be "roughing" it.

Went up there today to have a look see, lake is as dry as a bone. Took some happy snaps aswell




I would have been knee deep in water if the lake was full...

Last time I was there, there was still a bit in the middle but it's still pretty dry. I just checked the volume on this site http://www.dse.vic.gov.au/DSE/wcmn20...2572100009B86F and it says, as of the end of April, it was 8.1% full with 15,315 ML of water. It can hold up to about 190,000 ML

That figure is out of date Dezza, the figure as of yesterday is 7.42%, 14131ML. It was down to 5.79% last week...

Scotty, if you like wading through deep mud for ages only to take your chances catching carp, then be my guest!
