any idea where i can get 1x of those GT Gold color rims in 17inch in Melbourne? my spare is the silver blade when i have 4x GT Gold rims like the ones on data_mine's car??? My car is the Heratige Green in EF XR6.

just go to a tyre joint and if they are any decent they should be able to get you in a single rim.
but if it were me, i'd just get a stocky as a spare. you'll find that the wheel well isnt deep enough to fit a wide rim into...and it will stick up, lifting the carpet...... plus, you're hardly ever using ya spare.. for the small amount that it gets used - its no use running a mag wheel as a spare... |

i have checked out the tyre places near my home and work, all want an extrodinary amount for one tyre. my wheel well is more than deep enuf as it has a rim in it at the moment.

I parked next to a Magenta ED Fairmont yesterday aswell, and the camera phone pics look like crap :(
Its like that menace FPV colour but not as dark, looks pretty cool.

GY galaxy blue. says in the reciept that its mako blue. maybe mako for e-series and galaxy for the aus perhaps?
Would like an xr front end on it though. anyone seen an el xr in galaxy/mako blue before? |

On my build plate it has KJ and in my owners manual it says Amethyst. Anyone heard of this colour? Its got Ford New Zealand on the build plate, so either all the imports have that or mines NZ built, that would explain the wheels, different trim and Fairmont interior door inserts - But I thought they had stopped assembling here by 1992.
The colour is similar to Quartz but a quite a bit more grey, you can see a hint of purple in certain lights.

Have recieved information from Ford on colour saying not listed. Is coded 36 - Police / Taxi pack. Any info would be appreciated. cheers |
