I went and had a look today - stacks of cars there............. going to be a Fun Day

Remember the road in Sandown Race Track is classified as a Public Road - once you get behind the gates to the Race Track you can mis-behave

Not really meant to misbehave. The Show'N'Shine cars arent allowed to go flat out as they wont have tailshaft loops, extinguishers, etc. Its more 6 "parade" laps.
Great to see there letting them out on the track though, full marks to organisers!

I'll be running the EB GT's so show wheels, im just parading around. It still will be good to say i've done laps of Sandown at Easternats no matter how fast we go .

Having stockies will be fun but if something happens to the car, its my only 1 and it will be a massive pain in the **** to get around.

proberly cos they want to fit in with the rest of the wa**kers who run them.....

plus there is a big difference between thrashing and performance driving, not that you would know that.

Well guys I didnt end up making it due to getting ill last night. I woke about 2:30am and didnt get back to sleep until about 4 or so. I am so annoyed that I couldnt make it. More so because the car has had a treatment of Zymol.

How did it all go. Apparently the weather here in Melbourne was far better than in Queensland so i'm guessing the show and shine went off.

Any standouts?

I think you spotted a Sheep Tony

Was a great day, great weather, great cars, ALOT of Old Skool Muscle there., well worth it...........

Didnt get 6 Laps in :( about one and a half as apparently a Holden Boy lost control in his "Performance Car" and got us all kicked off.

My Auto went into LIMP mode just as I got onto the track - Arrrrrrrrrrrrg - got it kind of sorted on the front straight then we got kicked off :(

Had an ORSM Time - this is the way a Club Should be Run..............

Thanks to the Organisers, all i had to do was turn up and everything was organised - how good is that

Some Pics

Well done on pics Rosco, they came out great. Cars looked fantastic but abit more bonnet-up would have looked better

Simon you need some more bags of cement in engine bay man, level it out some more

And those sheep, certainly need to do something about that. Some kind of natural predator or mixo would work LOL

Orsm pics Rosco, I've got a few as well, bloody dial-up!

PFM guy spent his time at our stand, and took pics of EVERY car. Look out for next issue.

It was a very nice day and some tuff cars! The run around the track was enjoyable, pity it didn't last longer.

Great variety of cars made the display look just ORSM. Good on ya guys. Pity about the one lap only.

Great pics! Shame about the laps cut short though, really only takes one doesnt it, and the one Holden out there managed to screw it up. That said, few of the Cobra guys thought it was a race to the chicanes up the back straight and almost took out the Pace car, lol!
Judges chose the right cars to award aswell for a change, 3510 (Blue XYGT on FR's) taking out Best Ford, and GRIEF (Blue XC on AJR's) taking out Best car on show.

Im guessing im one of these "sheep" characters? Pretty funny you guys calling people that considering you all have ORSM plates on cars that look the same as every other BA/BF out there (ORSM4L & BLKPHN excepted :P)
