Is it what you were going to bring up to the blue mountains once?

Errrr......what happened to the original plan of meeting at MacDonalds on Canterbruy Rd. then going Cantebury Rd. to Warburton, Reefton Spur to Lake Mountain, Lake Mountain to Marysville, Marysville to Healesville via Black Spur?
Sorry to be a stick in the mud guys, but if you are only going Black Spur then Simon and I won't be coming. Instead we will stick to the original route. Black spur is great but generally full of traffic, slow vehicles and sight seeing types. Original route is almost deserted and the roads are better (see lots of corners) wider and hence more fun. If you are concrete on this plan, thats cool we might catch up with you at Marysville for lunch. GT |

Ummm didn't know that was the plan oops Sounds good, we'll do that then!! Can we please change the second meeting point to Maccas on Canterbury Road gang? We'll ask that people arrive there as planned at around 9:45am for a roughly 10am departure. Sorry it's not in PM, couldn't be bothered.
So that's McDonalds on Canterbury Road in Bayswater. Carpark. Breakfast all round... ;)

Will do, although I have spent 2 weekends randomly pottering (cough hammering) through the Nongs an they rate as some of the most amazing roads in the world.

PHEW, WHAT A DAY!!!!! 11 Cars in total!!!!!!! What a fantastic day, gorgeous weather, nice selection of cars!!
We had the following Vehicles arrive. Fiesta LX 3 door Fiesta Zetec 3 door 3 x Focus Zetec 3 door Focus ST170 New Focus Zetec 5 door Mondeo GLX 2 x Mondeo ST24 Mazda SP23 sedan So we had 10 club cars there and Paul in his beautiful SP23!!! Thanks to everyone for such a fine turn up, for making all your cars look so damn good and for being such a friendly bunch! Can I also make a special mention to Kim for making the trip down from Sydney for a weekend with friends here, he still spent the day with us!!!!! What a top effort Kim, it was great seeing your sticker there on the back window doing us proud and we're glad to hear you love your new Fiesta, especially now that it has some k's on it!! Ready for that first complimentary service already!! Have a safe trip home mate, look forward to catching up again sometime soon. My surprise was being able to bring along the New Focus - a 5 door Zetec. It provided a little interest at Maccas in the morning and was an intersting comparison next to the Mazda 3, it's chassis and technology linked cousin! I have spent over 1,000km in the new model Zetec now and am VERY impressed to say the least at just how the car has evolved. Very powerful, very refined, SMOOTH like you wouldn't believe possible and a very well styled solid looking car! Congrats to Ford! (Matt wonders when he'll buy one and where he'll get lower springs and a zorst from he he he ) I will post photos up sometime soon, I am just having a lie down after 250k's of fantastic driving!! Great to see you all there and I definitely look forward to the next meet!! And RIZ!!!!!! Good to see yourself and your mate Corey, love those 2 Zetecs you both brought along and I hope you both enjoyed the day!! Keep us posted on that Turbo installation!! I'll never wash my hands again after touching our car, now that I have FINALLY been one of only a few select people in the world to ACTUALLY meet you!! Off to sleep! Catch you all later!

What a great day, beautiful weather and cars!
Thanks for letting me join in on the cruise it was great fun and a great drive. Good to test out the SP23 and I must say that it did very well!! I must say thank god for having a manual, it was great fun through the twisties!!:eclipsee_ Everyone was very friendly and easy to get along with, which was great Some very nice cars with Stephen and Rizza's Foci both lookig great with the morrette headlights. I loved both the ST24 Mondeos and might be looking at one for a second car to fang around now, as im not sure if I want to spend money on my company car. And the ST170 focus was very nice and sounded great! The new focus was great to get a look at and compare with my mazda 3. Once again thanks for letting me tag along and hope to be able to attend another one soon! :

Taking suggestions for the next cruise!!!!! Suggest perhaps a dinner with less of a drive and more of a social event since we had so much time talking last time!!

How about a drive to Kinglake? Meet at the Pines at Doncaster (end of springvale Rd), and find something to do there??

Did someone say videos? Cool! It would be cool if we had enough video to make a DVD, even if it was something like "EuroFord '05 - The cruises" with all the video footage on it, was well as all the photos, and of course the DVD could also have all the original, high resolution photos on it too for people with DVD ROM drives... What does everyone think of that idea?
