its a very nice $19.95 Petal by the way. the blue inserts are very attractive. it was a fine chioce. obviously a manfacturing error created this situation. perhaps you should pursue the issue further with Auto Barn. Could be a big payout due to your ongoing fear of Tow Bars.

Note the extreme attention to safe retention. I would have totalled both cars, due my foot refusing to touch such an ornate item of uselessness.

Mate, in all seriousness, if you think they are dangerous enough to have caused your accident, or well, contributed to it, then perhaps you do have a point... what is it about them which created the problem in the first place?

Also, seriously, to ensure that people take you seriously, just type your post and then go over it before you submit it... otherwise people will just laugh and not take too much notice of what you say. Everyone makes mistakes mate, but geeesh yours are funny!

Im struggling to see how your foot slipped off a pedal that big...

I had pedals like that on my old car (manual) and i found that they were too close together and I was occasionally hitting the brake and accelerator at the same time.

NRMA will not insure your car with these pedals for that reason... and because it's easier to double clutch (says NRMA - bwahahaha)

maybe you could put a towbar on the front of your car...

Maybe he was seated in the coffin position and reclined so far back that his baseball cap got wedged between the head rest and seat and was unable to identify the slip zone on his pedal

Perhaps these silly slippery pedals should have been added to this poll... 'Dodgiest Aftermarket Accessory' http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=83815 they put rubber on them for a reason

I would also advise you to never EVER try to 'heel and toe' !!
