Sorry couldn't help myself.

Sometimes I just walk into the garage and stare.....

I love my XY but I'm honest enough with myself to know that the category of great looking cars of the world stops at two doors.

Dont know how people think the Zonda is a good looking car. Looks all out of proportion.

I'm not sold on the new Huayra, but I do like the Zonda. And its for a very different reason to Ford GT40 or Muira. The GT40 and Muira has nice curves and a great shape, nothing outlandish. The appeal of the Zonda is in its craziness, it looks like the child of a fighter jet and spaceship...on drugs!

This is what you buy when money is no object and you are sick of "buying off the rack" cars.

http://www.kirkhammotorsports.com/book_aoe/

Completely hand built. Amazing craftsmanship. It's a great read too.

They guy they built it for is the CEO of the company I work for. Someone sent me a pic the other day of his Ford GT parked out front of his office. He has quite a stable of cars.

How has he managed to build up Oracle, I just started using some Oracle cost management programs and I feel like I've gone backwards 10 years, our Company spent millions to go backwards. Must have been a cracker of a presentation of a second rate product. Half the screens are still DOS based.

Cool car though....

DOS based? Oracle Forms was deprecated years ago. Maybe your company bought something out of the second hand bin at JB??

These kind of threads pop up on here from time to time and they are always dominated by XA\XB coupes. It's not just the owners these days who drool over them I get random people from all walks of life just come up to me when I'm in the coupe. They get more looks than any other car I can think of these days and the funny thing is they were ridiculed as bogan cars in the 80s and 90s.

I'm actually surprised I'm saying this but another fave of mine would you believe is the VW Karmann Ghia. I love the shape and the interior of them, But not the mechanical side of things although I have seen them with high performance Porsche running gear which really get's them moving.

Mate you're spot on brother. Everytime I'm out in mine, people from pimplely faced teens to old timers always seem to appreciate the coupe. And children just love it. Funny thing is a lot of them are supprized when I tell them it's a ford falcon, as it's has been called anything from a charger, mustang, monaro, camaro and even a cuda. But the best of all was a little kid called it bumble bee, I think being yellow with the horn stripe had a lot to do with it.
