Dont think it needs over policing, but most certainly with the introduction of electric bikes we need some more diligence or structure with infrastructure.

I witnessed some bloke on an electric bike flying through suburban streets, I was a little jelly I couldn't keep up legally, but point remains they are seriously quick and yet can go in places they probably should be.

Ive never understood bikes in that part of Southbank, maybe from 5-9AM while they are out getting a coffee but it gets very congested. Injury rates will increase unless there is some decent demarcation etc.

Legally electric bike assistance has to cut out at 25kmh. Like most things with a motor, they get modified.

Was in Brisbane's South Bank last night (funny that, they have a fancy suburb near a river too) and cyclists were hauling *** on the shared track as well.

And those bastard e-scooter things, I'm telling ya they'd look good floating in that nice river of yours.
