i feel your pain. ive been done kind of the same.. i was doing a pretty huge burnout and got caught. car gone for 2 days and when i picked it up (the windows were up obivously) there was still smoke haze inside the car.
***** happens guys all the older people will say we are young hoons, but i know for a fact if my old man got caught doin these things the local cop would give them a slap on the wrist and ask whats under the bonnet. We know live in society where punishment is handed out so eagerly without the thought for driver training or education.. who says that i cant control my car better sideways than the 17 year old fresh licence person driving a corolla can at 60ks..?? who says a typhoon going 160 with 6 spot brembos cant stop quicker than the same corolla doing 100..? You have to put things in perspective sometimes.. without judgement on numbers or fines or statistics. My best mate has lost 16 points in under 2 years of driving.. but i trust his driving more than any of my friends who havent lost a point. driver skill is not based on points.. loss of no points is merely the ability to restrain yourself and drive slow. simple as that. yeah ive done advanced an defensive driving courses.. im only 19 but have been driving for a number of years and take every chance i get to learn more. as for the 'dob in a hoon' i personally think its total and utter garbage. i mean what does our club have at stake really..? apparently we will get a reputation as hoons.. well heres some news guys.. if you drive a modified car then the public.. A Current Affair, police, whoever, already generalise us as hoons. i wouldnt dob in anyone for doing a little burnout or racing someone. If they did something stupid then it is there responsibility and they should learn from the matter.. our society is turning into a very petty place to live. you cant voice an opinion.. whether it be on a forum or verbally without being silenced by do-gooders. |

all i was trying to do was show how easy it is to get your car taken for no reason i was lucky i had a legitimate reason why i wasn't where i was supposed to be that was the only reason my car stayed where it is now as far as the photoshop community its not from there it is from here e-series but the police have to find out who it was unless the person wants to own up to it jason

1. where else have you posted that big version of the pic in your avatar? 2. why would the person who reported you say they were from e-series? 3. how come the cops came to your house? That seems a bit extreme to me, not to say it doesn't happen, but they do have better things to do than go and chase up people doing burnouts ..

Jason, thought you said your piece, enough is enough.
What was the point of the thread again? We all know the rules? He stuffed up. WGAF. I gathered he wanted to sell some stuff, wrong section. We are just going to go around in circles until its closed. edit: you can officially take Steady ED off the suspects list, his skills are as good as mine..LOL Does that ED have wheelie bars?

hey there age182, mate i hope you do learn the lesson that should be so damn obvious by now!!! just dont freakin drag race, smoke your tyres and all the rest of the things that can cost you your car and so much more importantly, someone else their life! maybe oneday when you start to care about things beside being a fraction in front of someone or vice verca, you will understand that sometimes when that tiny chance of something going wrong actually does happen to you, you may find that the far reaching consequences of your actions cannot be undone.
if you were a parent and you took a walk past the plaza with your child you might just understand how frightening it is to see people howling around in their cars only meters away from you and that if it goes horribly wrong and you had your injured child under a car in front of you, what would you want to do to that person? please think about other people and how you may affect someone elses life. cheers Dean |

closing a thread IS NOT THE ANSWER TO EVERYTHING. so what if it goes in circles its called a discussion. criticism does not kill someone so people should stop sooking so much.
and i think your pretty much within your rights to tell them you will not have your car taken for something they cannot prove.. with the high level of fake photos these days a picture just isnt enough. no way would they be taking my car from my own driveway.. ps steady-ed love the pic.. |

But yeah, I cant see how its legal for someone to take your car without any hard evidence. if the pic was actually on a digi cam; then thats a little different. But a random pic from someone who Im guessing stayed unidentified; thats BS. What a little weasel that person is too, karma is a ******.
