Yes, I would imagine, unless you use them for work and it has paid for itself probably 100 times over now. I don't rate performance in how fast it goes between traffic lights, just reliability and load capabilities at hwy speeds.

I'll get flamed but it's Porsche for me.
911 in particular. This is looks only, not their ability. |

Can attest to this watching my parents suffer Euro car ownership when we came to Australia, for many years. My parents weren't auto electricians, so they couldn't do the fancy tuner stuff. They just suffered. But it wasn't due to them overrating the Euro cars (subject of this thread) - it was all they originally knew. Now, replacing a Territory (1st quote) - I see Jag F Pace or RR Velar as the successor for type of vehicle - full time AWD SUV that handles well. Two problems, 1) price is double and 2) reliability is not on par with Barra powered Territory. JLR does some absolutely fantastic looking cars, top marks to stylists inside & out, and yes they have cache and are rated highly, but its what happens after warranty/in depreciation/in reliability that is where they could improve to match the way people rate them.

SUVs in general.
Either buy a cool sedan or a big wagon. The in-between is useless but seems so popular? I guess all different. |

Closest to Territory I can see is F Pace with 90:10 RWD bias AWD, supercharged petrol V6 is a Ford motor block too I think

Could never understand the love some people had for driving around the highway in old Land Rovers

My (very wealthy) mate sold his BMW X5 top model to get the top Range Rover.
Reckons worse decision he had ever made. He then sold the Range Rover in about 6 months (I don't know but I'm guessing a huge loss on resale when he traded back to the BMW newer version) |

I've got plenty of cars on my ****list but I can't really think of any that are 'overrated' - aside from VW's turds rolled in glitter.
Toybaru 86 comes to mind, ****en nugget car, could have been a modern Silvia/200SX but they decided to put a limp wristed engine in it. |

Looks like Toyota learnt nothing though, cause the next 86 will have an na 2.4 boxer What a rubbish engine to give it. And it’s not like Toyota don’t know how to do good sport engines. 2jz, 4age etc. Yet they are choosing garbage Subaru boxers. |

that old chestnut. Or should I say walnut: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OM0M2bQM-ag sounds like fun best comment on that vid, Mr Allah Turbo: "don’t buy a car that need these procedures, simply not worth it" watching that vid is electro-mechanical schadenfreude

They look cheap to me so if drivetrain is also it then no Turbo. Plus buyer's are usually young and they are fast enough easily. (and more affordable) |

I think the Taurus made the AU look like a Miss Universe winner.

That convertible, the Capri.
Unless I'm misunderstood, it has to be a contender. |

As for the peeps hating on the AU (I don't blame you. I can't tell if it's coming or going), but race-spec Craig Lowndes car... Hot.
