Me likey. And I'm one of the potential buyers too (Flappist, I must congratulate you for your regular injection of sanity into those topics you choose to post in).

FPV is on the record as saying they will be doing limited edition runs to see out the BF, so why all the fuss about it being such a minimal upgrade over the stocker? It's appealing, and that's all that counts.

The images are certainly digitally altered (and somewhat distorted in the case of the front 3/4 view) but hey, welcome to marketing. I personally wouldn't on anyone that works in marketing, unless they were sitting too close to their grandmother while they sold her house out from under her, but that's just me ;)

I like the wheels; are they currently being used on the cooking model Typhoon?

Oh, I just painted my VFR750 white too; they'd make a nice stable-pair

Great marketing, white looks hot and the additions are worth the bit of extra cash.
Well they talk it up as being used for track days, sprints etc which is sort of funny because they'll can your warranty as soon as they find out thats what you used it for.

And you need to understand i'm not saying its a waste, its good value and a worthwhile marketing exercise to help prop up sales, I just think they should have taken it a bit further, which is pointless now I guess with the Orion on the way. Had a good look at one at work the other day and damn does it look impressive, can't wait till it hits the streets.

Bingo

FPV are making the most of what they have got - I'm sure they're just as keen for Orion as we are.

seriously the wheels alone are worth the extra $1500

Plus to get to own a limited editon of only 300 cars, for collectors or people who like to be different this is a nice option.
