When you fill a bottle at a servo from a dispenser designed to fill cars what mix exactly are you getting? Not a guessing game I would like to play

Its not the difference in specific gravity, its the different oxygen requirement of the gases. Propane requires 5 molecules of oxygen (O2) to 1 propane molecule (C3 H8) where as butane needs 2 butane molecules (C4 H10) to 13 oxygen molecules. So depending on the butane mix you reduce the jet size accordingly.

And dont forget the limits of flammability between the two gases
