Thanks mate!!! As you have stated the Modulars have a lesser amount of quick times but I reckon they have just as much potential as a T6! We just need to harness it in the right car/ute!

Yep for sure, a lot of it is down to expense that not many are having a crack but hopefully Agro's Miami kit can bring it to the masses and we can get some more entries into the 9 and 10 second bracket

We'll just leave it to the bug guns to run the first 8

Menace, I see you're kicking butt on Wednesdays at Willowbank....

Do you find the track is as good on Wed as on Sat?

I went on a Wednesday and it was very slippery, but on a Saturday it was very good.

I have read elsewhere that they do a better track on Sat.

Do you find that's not the case?

Depends on whether the track is prepped or not. Say if there is a big race meet on the weekend you will find they might prep a lane for the big boys to test on which is what they did on the 2nd last time out. The track wasn't the best on Wednesday night otherwise it might have held the tyres on that big first launch where it lifted the front wheels.. But generally I think there usually isn't much difference between Wednesday and Saturday night.

I actually enjoy the Saturdays much more cause there's nothing better than watching a 9 second car drive past you like you're standing still - best seat in the house!

But you get as many runs as you want on Wednesday

Hope to see you out there one night. From the lane next you would be a great way to watch your ute!

It was great meeting yourself and all the other members, and yes my ute is set up to go quicker!!

I just felt it appropriate after the weekend to show what has gone into my ute to get it going so quick to what Dan has accomplished with bolt on equipment on a Miami to get into the 9s! Believe me when I say the guy's with Miami's are a spoilt bunch!

Well done Corey I didn't get to see it go down the track .as I was to busy crewing on two turbo sixes lol. Had the best day .great to see some locals setting new PB,s and one very fast Victorian .you should come to dragfest at warick in October .

Thanks mate, I'd love to do dragfest but the dates don't work for me this year maybe next year.

Posted in the "5L FPV Supercharged" section: My MK2 GS Ute recently ran a 1/4 mile of 10.95@134. It was more car and tuner/hardware than my driving ability that achieved this time. Thanks to Herrod Motorsport and Autotech Engineering for the majority work and producing a daily driven beast.
