My mum doesnt really care for cars and tells me to save as does my dad. Although when somethings wrong with my car dad's always willing to give me pointers and helps out with real enthusiasm for things like changing th k-frame, changing the brakes, lowering the car, installing the catch can etc.... And he always asks me if he can borrow it

an inline 6 cylender engine will never sound like a V8...as has been said it sounds like a 6 with an exhaust, not a V8.. its not the "sound quality of your camera"

Having a six and claiming it's got a V8 note = ghey
Say it's a six, and be proud of it! Sixes can sound horn in their own way. |

When I first brought the car I took my old man,In his words "thats in bloody good nick,I might buy it".To that he added," Its too good to be left outside in the weather we had better start on that carport for you".Once built she never saw the carport, the garage was the prefered home.Since then they have stuck by with my decessions to spend money on it and pull it apart at all goddly hours. Now that I have my won place when I go home, Mum can hear me coming but I don't get a reving just told "now don't be silly and speed, stay safe you are too precious" I am aware of this but I can't help myself sometimes.
Dad still doesn't knock back a chance behind the wheel.

Yesterday at work we noticed a really riced up 2oosx on 2o's doing burnouts next door with a film crew watching, pretty crappy circle work to. I yelled out to the driver to take his skirt off and do it properly and they didn't take to kindly to that and yelled some abuse back, 1 camera guy said i should get my bucket of sh&t out. I just laughed and walked off till my old man asked wat was going on, when i explained wat had happened he said wat the bloody hell are you waiting for. Went for a quick drive next door and ended up smoking the new 19's i put on my car. |

Lol...Dad likes the Manual and the Black Pearl, and mocks me for my exhaust note. He is surprised of the punch it has down low compared to his auto.
Mum...ah, frugal fuel efficient Mum. I'll tell her I have a V8.one day.I dont need that nagging quite yet. Lumpy

lmao, my dad laughed at me when i said i want and eb. Out of all the australian ford models built he hates the ea-ed the most and said " you are not getting an eb and thats that". Well i ended getting a 5ltr EB and he keeps sneaking off when im not looking and mentions how much he misses driving his zd fairlane which just sits in the back. My mum hates the idea of me owning a v8 but my old man managed to get her to change her mind by saying " the AU you are driving has more kw than this v8".
All in all parents are ok with it and i have managed to make my dad and brother like the e-series models. |

sometimes my parents frown upon me spending money on the car... other times they are all enthusiastic about it??
Either way... i just remind them of their expensive hardware in the garage and they drop the subject for some reason... :P
