So in short,

1)Get car legal - ETA 3 Weeks
2) Buy race tyres and wheels to suit
3) Go racing, run 12's
4) Get a retune, run 11's
5) Start other mods.

I knew it wouldn't be long until there was a thread like this lol.

Dan, plates;

BOGAN
BOGAN6

I'm sure you'll appreciate my effort in thinking of those.

Oh and another suggestion, get rid of those ugly *** spotties. Has it got AU2 rear lights on it? I can't remember.

Dan - how about personalised plates? That's about all that beast needs. How's BAKILR? BA Killer - as in BA XR6T!

You have modified body kit, slightly modified engine, painted brakes (lol) and big rims, custom interior and a stereo you are happy with. The only thing you have said you would like to change is the wheels - I reckon this is what you should do and then you will have a beast you are totally happy with.

Dan, the whole point is that its all done already! Just drive it! Alot!

If you're desperate to stamp your name on it I'd paint it an eye bending colour and put some chrome rims on it.

Hmm good point, who wants to buy some 19 inch fury's?

I wonder what they are worth, I think the tyres on them are worth a bit.
I would really love some de corsa's Mmm they are awesome.

Should I go down to 18's? With a nice deep dish like the Impul's above.

Hmm Im going to seem some money now :(

True, this is part of the reason for buying it. I told the parents it was okay cos I wouldnt have to spend anything on it. :

hmmm, wot a sick car.
Pitty it aint yours ;)

I wouldnt mind a bit of IRS, I wonder how hard it would be to do though? What would the benefits be? Oviously more traction in a straight line but what else?

I wonder how much I could get away doing all that for?

How about a Rear end swap casper? Losing the 70 odd KG's or whatever it is would put you into the 14's surely

I don't imagine it'd be too hard, since it can be fitted to an eseries without too much hassle.
saying that, i wouldn't ever bother.

stuff IRS it sucks putting the power down mine does anyways ,and for the cost to fit it you could get it done properly with the (weld in) adjustable four link rear like a real drag car
