Maybe Roland Dane should buy a copy of the Movie CARS for Whincup to watch.
Maybe Jamie could learn a lesson from Lightning McQueen. This ain't a one man show As much as ya have to feel sorry for JW. Regardless of what the biased Holden commentators say. CHAZ's drive was even more impressive then Whincups. For a young kid to keep his composure throughout the race is just Awesome. Imagine what would have been going through his and the teams minds in the closing stages. To keep it all together and round him up and take the flag says a lot about his mental capabilities. It ain't over till the Fat lady sings and yesterday she was singing for Chaz and Ford. |

The Greatest race. FPR last, 25th on grid to victory on last lap!! The longest Bathurst in history, didn't seem like it with all the carnage and drama made the time fly by. Congrats FPR

It was a 'different' race, but mainly I reckon for the track breaking up !!
I am VERY old so my memories are from when I went to the mountain (rocks on the road, Nissan Turbo blowing at the top, all types of engine size, NO alcohol limits) but I have never seen the race stopped because of the track. I think those boys might be in trouble. If Ford pull out it will be interesting to see what format they make Bathurst if there are no V8s any more, time will tell. In the mean time it was interesting to watch and a win is a win, Go Ford UK

What about adding car #55 as runner up 2012? JC. Would look good on the banner.

On you Chaz, the young guy really kept his head and put the pressure on where many might have made a mistake under pressure.
As a crusty old school Ford man (thus my user name) seeing the name Moffat back on the podium just was the cherry on top. If Whincup had of backed off 5 -10 laps out, Chaz probably would have been able to sprint past and won anyway coz he was feuled up, but it would have been much less exciting, a bit of a let down, so good on JW for making it exciting. |

The banner would look better if you had a picture of the 2013 car raced by Winterbottom.

Has to be on of the more Epic and memorable Mount Panorama races in recent history. ---Track breaking up.
-1 hour race stop -kangaroo carnage -footy rolling down conrod -the massive amount of crashes/safety cars -fuel strategies.-chaz/morris FPR car last to 1st. -chaz last year finished 20th something last year. - wins this year!!! -last 10 laps duel between whingecup and CHAZ. -chaz overtake for the lead more than halfway through the last lap.. What an exciting race!!! -and a great result for FORD fans. |

I had the flu so I couldnt even celebrate with a beer, just a cup of tea. But when Mostert passed Wincup coming into the straight, I jumped off the couch that quick I neally done both hammies.
Those Holden supporters sitting at the last turn, all they seen coming over the Horizon was a windscreen with the letters FORD....and wincups car farting past half a minute later...another long trip home on the highway of broken dreams for them. So it doesnt really get any better than that! Oh yes it does. Being able to rub it into the faces of Holden fans for 'another' 12 months! |

Just remember when you see a Commodore owner stuck on the side of the road, do the right think and ask "hasn't run out of fuel has it?"
