Yup,spot on!Just show's you the massive power of advertising(in Toyota's case.)They have had the Aus public(my opinion) "brainwashed" for years in believing that these things are "Unbreakable"(yeah, whatever!) and the best things since sliced bread.People have believed it, & like sheep bought the things.Reality is they are no better or worse than most other vehicles on the road.Just damn boring & uninspiring to drive. And if the things didn't have a Toyota badge on them, you probably wouldn't look twice at one.Rant Over!

That's a really interesting figure. They are selling more F150's in the US in 2-3 days then we are selling Falcons in a year. You can see why Ford HQ couldn't give 2 s**ts about what is going on here with Falcon.

It's cheap. Base Cruze is currently $19,990.

Keep in mind Holden themselves have said they dont make any money on Cruze so it's really just to keep the factory ticking over.

Or a whole lot less than a very tired ten year old Territory model. Depends on your perspective.

Hi Russ, in the luxury SUV segment, your figure for the Lexus LX is incorrect.

There is no longer a Focus Ambiente - they dropped the base model ages ago. Hasn't done them any good either.

Not necessarily. Instead of pricing the manual Trend at $23,390 and the auto only $1000 more at $24,390, they should do what the other makes do and make the manual $2500 less, at $21,890. 21 sounds much more appealing than 23 to me.

Or they try to sell higher model small cars that might make some money...or sell models that make money.
