Any ideas what caused the fire Lisa?

This may sound a bit wierd, but what are the ages of Lisa's children, we have some things that may be of use, but what does Lisa need short term.

Also the cost of geting some things from Vic to Lisa may only be vailble if we can send them jointly. I remember (I think) that Lisa is in NSW somewhere, but if someone was willing to take some things up from all of the members in Vic it would mean that Lisa get the most of what she needs and the least of what she doesn't need.

If Lisa lets us know what she needs I would be happy to sort through and see what my family could contribute to Lisa and her family. I'm just trying to be practicle that is all.

Regards

Steven

Should we start a list of what Lisa will need to start over again?

I don't think she'll need 10 beds, 100 mobile phones etc.
She has son in his teens, he's on the board (Lad of ???, can't remember his username off the top of my head) and I know she has one daughter in her teens also, not sure if there are any more in the clan apart from the pets.

Ive just gotten off the phone to Lisa. She is still in pretty good spirits considering what her & the kids have been through.
The full reality of it all hasn't sunk in as of yet though(I'd expect that may take a few days to show through.) Will know more of what assistance may be of use to her once the initial shock of it wears off. Being located in Central Western NSW, she has recieved a fair amount of support from the 2 local communities, that are tending to her immediate clothing/accomodation needs.
Everything is still surreal to her. She is staying at a friends place & mentioned that she 'feels' like she should be heading back home to watch Big Brother.
I can't remember what the exact age of the kids,(hey I'm a guy ages etc is wifeys job - not mine!!! lol I'm SURE I'll get my butt kicked for being wrong but ya get that) Steve would be around 16? Monique 13-14? & Zac 11-12?

Hi Lisa and family

That is the most terrible news I have heard in ages mate, and we were so relieved to hear that you and the kids are ok! I dont know the circumstances surrounding the fire, but it is soooo good to hear that no one was injured or worse. I hope your dog is ok though, poor little thing!

It would be so hard to lose all your belongings! I dont think anyone could comprehend what it would be like to be left with nothing - we probably take so many every day things for granted, only to realise how much things are worth to you when you lose them in terrible circumstances such as you Lisa. I am glad to hear your communities around you are supporting you, and its really good to see the AFF community supporting you as well - as they all would!

Lisa, I just hope you can get back on your feet as soon as you can, that your life can get back to normal at some point and that above all, you have a big bucketload of good luck for the rest of your life, since I think you are statistically due for a lot of good luck!!!!

You have had such a rough time of things and have come through it all every time. Youre a tough chic Lisa, no doubt about it and I think everyone on the forums is confident you will get through it and you will be back better than ever!

Take care mate, and if there is anything that any of us can do to help, in any way, please dont hesitate to ask as everyone on here would feel somehow better if we could help - I think a lot of people feel so helpless reading of such a good mate going through something like that, I know I do.

All the best to you and your kids Lisa, stay tough and just remember all your mates and family are around and that above all, you guys are all safe and well.

Cheers Lisa

Jac and Eamon

Why is it that the bad things always happen to the good people who deserve a break?

So glad to hear everyone is okay Lisa and of cousre if you need anything we're all here for you.

Let Wulos know if an emergency relief convoy to MBFN is needed from us in the near future...

Lisa, I am so sorry to hear of this... just shocking. Let us know when you can about your doggie, too :(

And I am just about to do a big spring clean so I will send it your way when you let us know what you need.

My thoughts are with you all. Hugs to everyone.
