I find it funny that 78% of the people who have voted don't know the difference between green and yellow.

Here's where the Holden element comes into it.

Two guys at work both have the sickly green-grey colour on their Holdens. I'm still adamant the colour is green, like the green the army camo fatigues have. Everyone else says it's grey.

You may be adamant is green, but the majority of everyone else says it's yellow.

In my situation, I couldn't argue back, because it's 7 on 1.

Talking Look out he has been in the drugs cupboard again.

Hi Lynton

Good topic. Pick a colour that no one can describe and ask them to describe it. Well done.
Now get out of that Ambo's drug's cupboard and get back to work. :
As for Pirtek Girl, my major concern is what are we going to call her after Phillip Island. Jeld Wen Girl just does not cut it does it.
Perhaps we need a poll to pick her a new name?? :the_finge
What do you think?

Thanks blutura, call me silly but when you compare colour swatches it definately looks more of a light green than yellow. 75% of people have no idea :gren:

No Mr Mooch, I will not get off the drugs!
This whole subject actually stems from a long standing "discussion" between Pirtekgirl and myself. While we are on the subject of our beloved Tori, I think she is at a bit of a dilemma as to what her new name will be. My suggestion is Ms Tori as a tribute to her plates on her GT. I think that both suits her and is very appropriate, maybe we could have that poll.

when you compare colour swatches, Citric Acid is definitely, undeniably green.

HOWEVER...... when you see the car in the metal, the hue varies from a bright yellow, to a yellow/green colour similar to the old 'Pine Lime' colour Ford had in the 80's, to a very bright, pale green.

So there you have it, Citric Acid is both yellow and green at the same time, depending on lighting conditions.

I only have one good eye people. Depth perception is a b***h, but that good eye tells me it's more yellow than green, hence my vote.

Thought I would add this as a method of comparison. I have taken pics against my bike which is pretty much Rapid in colour (definately yellow). I think this shows undeniably citric acid is green.

I voted yellow but looking at that comparison I would say the car is more of a green.

Way to go Lynton - pick your most green-i-est Gecko photo and pose a very yellow pushie in front of it – Subtle! :

The fact of the matter is that after observing the Gecko today it appears that in some light it does look very green but at other times it looks extremely yellow. So my theory is this… on the right day, in the right light at the right moment the Gecko does in fact look very Green.

As for asking an official representative from Ford what their opinion on Citric Acid is…. Well today Lynton and I did just that – and his response – Green (I still say it was the tinted windows that altered his view!) _

Hey Mr Mooch :

I too have been concerned over the dilemma of my imminent name change – I will still support the devil racer for the next two rounds but then it will be time for a new name. I think I will most likely go with Ms Tori as Lynton suggested or maybe Princess Tori or even Queen Tori – as Drew has promoted me from princess status…. What do you reckon? I think doing a poll or calling for suggestions could be very dangerous.

Cheers, Tori

I can't see the argument here. Citric Acid is green, with maybe the slightest hint of yellow. Any greener and it would look like grass.

There was no superimposing a photo of the bike onto a picture of the car that showed the gecko in its most green. It was a simple case of plonk the bike in front of the car and click. This means that both items were in equal light conditions. If you think it looks yellow in the pic, get off the drugs! (no I am not grumpy Tori)

The pic speaks for itself, it is green, just ask Steele :
