Meh who cares about the pub......

The Dirty Disco has gone, so many good times....

I heard they were going to knock it down anyway to make way for a new building, easier to burn than knock it down....

Wonder if it's heritage listed?

Don't worry, my town is most likely going to lose its pub as well. Except its going to be sold.

Thats sad though, 140 year old pub, I suspect many generations grew up with that pub too.

Devastating when this happens. I grew up in the famous Playroom on the Gold Coast, and The Patch in Coolangatta. Those places absolutely ROCKED!!!
I know how you feel....:(

Yep, I agree. Spent a few bob in there at the V8 weekends.

There has been talk of it being demolished for a few years. Either this was fortuitous, or it has been a way to fund the rebuild. Either way, its a shame!

Default Iphone-to-Iphone free sms app

Thought I'd share this app with fellow iphone users.

Search for the app 'Ping'

Its a free instant messaging client that allows u to send an sms free of charge to other iphone users. It does however count toward data usage, however it only user 2kb to send and receive the txt. Thats over 100 txts to 1mb!! If you connect to wifi, its free and doesnt count toward ur data usage.

Available also to ipod touch over wifi.

Better than paying 25c per text.

Cheers

quote from AFF Forum Director in reply to a PM.

AFF won't be available at the moment as we have turned it off in case it is the cause of the server issues (they started about the same time).

We will gradually turn things back on as we keep testing.
