The cheapest I got was an EA1 Ghia for $1200. The best thing was after spending no more than $500 on tidying it up, we sold it for $3500!

I remember my boss also bought a 1980 Mercedes-Benz 280SEL for $217. It was a trade in at a caryard & it had a blown head gasket but other than that it was immaculate. The car yard was going to sell it to the wreckers where the lights & grille were to come off & the rest was to get crushed the following Monday. Being an avid Mercedes enthusiest i couldnt let that happen so i talked my boss into buying it. Its now sitting under a carport gathering dust but thats better than being a tin can though....
