There are a number of shows that got cancelled way to early.
There's: - Crusade (a spinoff of Babylon 5, that got cancelled even before a single episode aired) - Firefly (they were geared up for a second season, but were cancelled) - Mortal Kombat: Conquest (at least they could have made one more episode to finish it off) - Martial Law (Sammo may be a bit podgy, but it was fun seeing a Jackie Chan style show) - Now and Again (as previously mentioned) - Star Trek: Enterprise (got a heck of a lot better in the last season, due to the new writer) - Futurama (may actually make a return, they are considering making new episodes) - American Gothic (my mum loved this show) - Farscape (what's up with Channel 9 helping develop it, but refusing to show it properly) - Psi Factor (I actually liked watching that show, and wondered what happened to it) - Jake 2.0 (really got stuffed around here, but was an interesting show) - 7 Days (I really enjoyed the show, when I could watch it, they really messed it up) - Haunted (was getting really good, then ten stuffed it around) - The Invisible Man (was a fun little show) - Babylon 5: Legend of the Rangers (probably would have been picked up, if they didn't air the movie against the Superbowl!) - Tru Calling (at least we got to see the last episode, which was more than the americans got) - Revelations (that was a very well put together series, but wasn't picked up for season 2) - Birds of Prey (was a interesting if short show) - Kung Fu: The Legend Continues (I'm hoping for a DVD release, it was a good show, almost as good as the original) - The Extraordinary (remember being a little kid, and was scared s***less by one of the stories) There are probably more, but I can't really think of them right now. |

Does anyone remember Patrol Boat from the ABC in the early 80's? Was great, taught me important lessons like everyone in the RAN has a beard.

I remember Patrol Boat.. you are right about the beards...
I use to love watching up Up Pompeii with Frankie Howerd (and all those lovley girls). It wouldn't be as good now casue you can say on TV all the innuendo gags. How about Patrick McGoohan in The Prisoner? Uncle Ken Or Aunty Jack of course...

Hmmm... shows I miss?
Dark Angel... two seasons only? Ok, the first season was great and they ИИИИed up season 2 hard when they made all those mutant things and Alba's character stopped being all easy going and funny and ИИИИ and became this brooding serious always sad and angry person... but the last episode of season 2 left alot to be desired.... Angel... just because Buffy ended... why did this have to end? Bah. Season 5 finale also left alot to be desired... standing there in an alley way with a bazillion monsters and ИИИИ flying at them... sif they wouldn't show what happens! Lois & Clark - The New Adventures of Superman... I always liked Superman... since I was really little and still do... haha. They just released this show on DVD (gonna have to get it)... but yeah... 4th season, Clark and Lois are married... they find a baby at their doorstep and that's it? Booo! Hmm... that's all I can think of for now.

I've got the whole of series 1 on my computer. THey only ended up showing 7 or so episodes in March or April, then before Christmas they showed 1 or 2 eps to fill in all the shows series that were ending. |

I'm not too sure about the new enemies though, the Ori. At least they could defeat the Goulds. And with Claudia Black and Ben Browder, its taken on a bit of a Farscape feel. |

In my opinion, instead of playing boring english investigative dramas they should do repeats of The Good Times with JJ.
