B1D is the code for Dark Graphite and A1 is the one for warm charcoal - the only other colour code is A1D which is described as Dark Graphite for the LTD. The rest of the part number stays the same.

They are what you have pictured but without the actual insert as far as I can tell from the (crap) diagrams.

Does anyone know if you can buy the chrome inserts that go on the bumper and door protector strips that were on AU2 Ghia and AU3 futura/fairmont etc.

And maybe a rough price if anyone knows?

You can actually get it in the aftermarket in a range of colours.

The Silver (chrome look) finish from the AU2 XRs is still available for the door trims as per below:

Anyone know the part number for the strip on the passenger side of the dash, which is above the glove box? Just above where the air bag comes out of...

Mine is starting to wrap :s If I could get it in carbon fibre look I think it would look good.. Is it easy to swap? Just a simple peel off and glue the new one back on?

Just to further comment on what Russ has posted up:

'Virtual Camphor' is the name given to the Woodgrain in the Fairmonts/Ghias/Fairlanes. This is IIRC 2 seperate parts - the strip, and the MDC (which is the bit with the 2 screens, and is NOT included in the prices Russ has listed), and will not fit anything other than a Fairmont/Ghia/Lane/T Series dash. Similarly the Carbon Fibre one is exactly the same, just obviously with a different finish.

The Forte/Futura/XR one goes above where your airbag is.

Hay Russ I was wondering can you buy parts of an au2 cluster seperatly its for a forte model. We need the needle and pin with it well not sure as we stuffed it up getting it out. Took it out the same as all the others but the fuel guage took the pin... not sure what to do?

It does, and police cluster has the ability to give digital speed readout etc etc.

As far as i know the only part of the cluster you can buy seperately is the mask, which is the black bit around your dials.

They are the seats but they aren't complete - the heading for the section reads as follows:

SEAT-SERVICE ASSY RH LESS COVERS

This means you need to add the covers (that is to say the actual trim material) to make a complete seat. Indeed if I read it right you also need to add the headrest, adjusting wheel and the base!

E.g:

AU2 F610A62 Q6 COVER ASSY - HEADREST PAD, WRM CHARCOAL - KONSTRUCT CLOTH, FRONT, XR $60.00

AU2 F62900 T6 COVER FRONT CUSHION, RH, WRM CHARCOAL - KONSTRUCT CLOTH, XR $151.11

AU2 F64416 T6 COVER ASSY - SEAT BACK, WRM CHARCOAL - KONSTRUCT CLOTH, XR $137.51

To remove the instrument cluster first remove the “one time only use’’ caps covering the two screws located at the top of the cluster. Remove the two screws using a phillips head screwdriver.
Once the screws are removed the cluster is only retained by a tight fit. Care must be taken to remove the cluster evenly (square to the instrument panel) to avoid damage to the instrument panel vinyl.
For installation press the cluster fully home into the instrument panel and secure using the two phillips head screws. Fit new screw caps.
