Busy day at down town disaster central got the old girl back on all 8 again need about 10 min. tomorrow to nip up a few bits wash and play time just a small problem of no oil pressure Missed the wire getting screwd into the frame of the A/C bracket all good now but
Just a few tips for any one silly enough to take on a job like this to kill some time Take a heap of picks of all the bolt placements there would be near on a dozen that are all different and need to go back in the right spot, mainly to clip wires and acess. off. As for doing all or 1 spring tuff call I did 1 40 thou ago and had no dramas till now had I done the 1 this time I would have missed the 2nd one on the opposite side Heads on or off ? again just a choice next time with a bit of luck I would have another shot with them on . For the V8 brigade with engine covers you need to pull the main support bracket that holds the alternator and the A/C and pwr steer pump towards the centre of the car as they have quite a bit of slop on the bolts and if you dont the engine cover will not fit back on . oh yeah nd keep the oil sender wire clear of the bolt and bracket All in all if you take your time and just enjoy it for what it is ( a learning Curve ) its not that bad till next time Cheers Whoosha
