All I see is a lot of sh*t stirring by some nervous Holden fans. Some of it's pretty funny, some of it's just a toss. Wanna enlighten us?
I don't know about unfinished engines at Chris' workshop, but I do know that anything that comes out of his workshop is certainly top notch.

Can someone tell me the name of Chris' business please. I'm hearing about his work on these pages, but can't file the testimonies away with a name.

Hi Chris,

If the BOSS motors came standard with VCT, would the edit enable you to rephase the existing cams without opening up the motor? It would be awesome if you could fiddle with cam phasing without having to open the motor. Perhaps the 220/230 SOHC v8 might be the weapon of choice if this is the case as it has VCT?

But the 220kw v8 comes with VCT doesn't it? I hope VCT is standard on the BOSS motors next model. Would allow even more tuning to be extracted out of the BOSS motors with edit software.

what does "re-phasing" the cam mean? Is this the same as a "re-grind"?

Means changing the timing of the cam shafts where they are relative to top dead centre.

Cool. If this is something you can do with the existing cams, why do we need to have a new set created from Crow?

Sorry don't mean to hijack Chris's thread but when things like this pop up its hard not to get inquisitive :1syellow1

Phasing is very important not right can cost you lots of torque/power also now by re phasing the existing cams Chris knows were the right phasing the new cams should be at, when these are avaliable you should see some execellent grunt out of these motors. It sounds good having bigger cams but the wrong phasing makes them pointless as the ones avaliable at the moment have found out.
