Some good advice for you late posters.
Go back to the start of the thread where all this has already been discussed, along with legal requirements.

yes common sense is always needed for driving a vehicle, but undoutfully there is quite a lot of ignorant and/or ediot drivers out there. So its common knowledge to avoid such acidents willing to happen. I would'nt care if I was in the right and them in the wrong, I rather stay alive than rather to prove a point, I would asume for everyone to be the same.
AS for giveway signs, when you reach an intersection with a giveway sign what do you do? You slow down and see if its clear to take off againg or stop to give the other vehicles right of way. Lets take another look at it againg in a different situation, the same give way sign stuck at the back on a bus. Your aprouching the giveway sign (bus on the kerb) you slow down and see if its clear to take off againg or stop to give the other vehicles right of way, this rule applies no matter what speed your at. You come to an intersection with a giveway sign doing 80, you SLOW DOWN! Same applies to a bus! |

Common sense would be if your on a freeway and you see "ANY" vehicle coming down a off ramp is to merge to the right lane so they can safely enter the freeway. Come on people everyone has the right to use the road. It is there to be shared.
I just hate it when cars don't give way to a bus is leaving the kerb or trying to change lanes, or when they dart in front of you just to make the next left or right turn. |
