Because those are goals that most reasonable people would support.

The Australian Aborigines had it right before our ancestors got here, take what you need to survive.

Modern medicine is keeping us alive beyond where we were meant to live and this has added to the over-population (and yes I wouldn't here writing this but for modern medicine)

Now it is all about consumerism and greed

Obama is now a billionaire. Had a tiny fraction of that before he got into office. President doesn't really have that high a pay (500k?) considering how important the job is, so how did he become so rich? You can't tell me he didn't recieve all sorts of payments from who knows where. They are just good enough to hide the payments. Pelosi is extremely rich too. They all have their noses in the trough. No wonder Trump is copping it so much from them for trying to drain the swamp, as he said.

You seem to assume that, if I don’t believe in your particular political solutions, then I don’t really care about the issues you claim are important.

Goals are not outcomes.

A society tilted more to the social democratic isn't going to achieve any of your goals. All it does is put decisions in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong.

There's not much the GOP have to do to win the election. The Mueller probe as all but wrapped up vindicating Trump of alleged Russia Collusion. FISA can then be released and we'll see how the involvement of the UK, and more so, the Australian government played an intricate role in the meddling of the 2016 US election with an endeavour to sabotage Trumps run at presidency. Interesting times ahead.
