And whats with the 340 speedo? Don't even get to 8o'clock before you're speeding! :P Other than that, looks awesome IMO. I'd own one in around 15 years if I had the cash, lol.

The front could look better, the side definitely could look better, but the rear end is hot!
Hell, the rear is the most important part of the Nissan GTR, coz with those numbers; that is what most people will see!!!!

I can tell you there is NO CONFIRMED PRICE for Oz yet. We do not know what models, options or colours we will be getting. Dealers have been told to put $150,000 on the order sheets, mine has it as well, but I was told the price would most likely be $120,000+ORC for the top spec car (if we get it).
Everything is speculation at this stage aside from the look and some of the specs. An for the knuckle draggers that think it is Rice, WAKE UP and realise that it is not Rice, it is a drivers car with performance and handling. The car also has the same DSG gearbox technology as the GTI Golf, made by Borg Warner, Active suspension and twin IHI turbos.

First drive is out already!
"Yes, it lives up to all the hype! The coming Nissan GT-R is a world-class supercar: Top speed of 193 mph, 0-60 in 3.5 seconds, a 473 hp, 433 lb ft twin-turbo V6 mounted in the front and driving all four wheels through a rear-mounted transaxle. Take a breath. Okay, continue. And a dual-clutch six-speed automatic you can operate via paddles on the steering wheel. After a full day driving it on the Nurburgring, the Autobahn and up and over numerous little German country roads we can easily say this is one car that was not over hyped. It is truly a world-class supercar on par with, if not just ahead of, the iconic Porsche Turbo. (They had a Porsche Turbo on hand, too, and we thought the GT-R felt better tied down.) But it’s one thing to put a license plate on a race car and call it streetable. Chief engineer Kazutoshi Mizuno said the new GT-R was designed and engineered as an all-around, all-season, all-weather car that is comfortable to drive every day, even at normal speeds on a normal day. During the few minutes we drove at what could be called a “normal pace” that day we’d have to say we agree with him. But given only a few hours at the wheel of this, the most highly anticipated supercar in years, we were only in “normal” mode for very brief spurts. The rest of the time we were at some level between “pushing it” and “hammering on the mutha’.” Our first time behind the wheel was on the A48 autobahn in Germany somewhere out around Koblenz or Koln or some other K-town where the German socialist government had not yet succeeded in adding those awful 120-km-hr speed limits. It was like Bonneville with elevation changes and guardrails. The only limitation out here was aerodynamic. Hence, we were obliged to go all-out whompin’ fast the whole time..." damn i wish i still worked at nissan lol
everytime i look at this thread the beast grows on me... i want all these people who think it is just a ricer to take even a stock 32 gtr for a drive, and tell me its not better than almost anything else on the road... i think they are the best car i have ever driven, even better with mods, but what isnt lol i know theyre a technological masterpiece compared to a falcon, but it makes all the difference... and having a mate with one i regularly work on, i can tell you japanese is a lot beter than aussie manufacturing...

i hope people that buy them dont go putting massive wings and milo tins on them, have never really liked the asian cars either, but that thing looks like it will fly. And yes, they are built very well, same with subi's. very well put together.

I was at the Sydney motor show last night and couldn't find a faster car than this straight out of the box unless I looked at the mega dollar Porsche's. It makes the M3 look like an overpriced land barge (and I love the new M3).

I'm amuzed at how dumb people really are. Any one been to Japan?
I wouldnt classify any cars from Japan as rice. Rice isnt even their staple food. Bimantara on the other hand is "rice". |

This is one amazing machine, some of you people need to get out from behind your keyboards if you think this is rice in any way shape or form. It has all the go with all of the show (that digital display is f@cking amazing) If I had the money... oh if only I had the money

Far out those newer pics are awesome. Ahh the old G meter..LOL If your pulling anything serious thats the last thing you would be looking at. Unless you where on a skid pan and you could watch it and drift, that would be cool.
I like the electric dash, a bit retro/80's but look at all the info! This GTR being called rice, thats a crack up!

6 seconds slower then a CGT... lol... I love how people use slower times for better cars to try to type up another car. CGT = 7:28. Try again. Not a bad car, but unfortunately, like so many others (M3, M5, Z06 etc) another car that's going to be better in hype then in reality.
