There was a Ford US press release on here a few days ago about their involvement in the movie, just can't remember where. Done to promote the GT500 as well as a few Ford SUV's.

I may have even seen it on another forum.

I saw it!!

I think it would have been better if instead of flashbacks, it should have gone from start to finish!! Maybe a jump from after it all happened, to the present!

I agree that the ending was rushed!! They could have at least showed what happened when the cure was spread or something more than simply seeing a colony....

I didnt mind the movie though. Well worth the watch

Seen it last night, and i liked it, some of the CGI did seem a little old, but apart from that it was a good watch

P.S if someone cures cancer ill start to worry!!

Awful. Relied too much on a barren wasteland of New York which looked spectacular. The CGI zombies, horrible. The character development, horrible. The storyline, horrible. Still don't even understand why they were chasing deer, or how the friggen things got there in the first place.

American Gangster, that I'm looking forward to.

I saw it Friday night and I loved it. Could have been a little longer and a bit more in depth. Will Smith was fantastic, he really pulls you in and makes you feel like your there with him.

Agreed the movie was very well done but the ending was a very big anticlimax. Is the book any different??

I loved all the Fords in it!

Personally loved the movie - Will Smith was very good and the sense of isolation he portrayed was excellent. As with most critics I thought the first two thirds of the movie was great with the final act being lacklustre.

Oh and I was very upset when the unfortunate turn of events happened for Sam the dog...

Like most people on here, I was a bit let down by it. My son, who has read the book, thought the whole thing was very disappointing. If your that keen to see it, wait until it comes out on DVD.

Anybody notice how the part shown in the ad where Will is surrounded by zombies wasn't in the movie? I'm sure I never saw that part in the movie.... false advertising lol.

/Or did I fall asleep at some stage?????

The Lion also doesn't roar directly at him either in the movie, unlike the ad.

For me, the whine of the Supercharger on that GT500 was worth the rest of the movie. I was in Heaven for about 45 seconds.

For those who don't want to see the movie and just want to see the Stang...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IuHWxEC2Lr0
At around 1:18 hear that Supercharger roar!!!!!!!

He actually steals a Mustang out of a Ford showroom in one of the Deleted scenes from memory, explaining why it's so clean and untouched.

I think thats the norm for books that become movies...

Several hours of detailed reading and meticulous character build up cant be done in a movie.

I didnt know there was abook.

I loved the movie, i thought it was great and deserves the big screen.

One part i couldn't get is , when the dummy was on the street.. just before Sam got attacked and he got strung up..

Why was he talking to the dummy...

Was it one he had placed else where, like the one in the bookshop as company, that was now in a wrong location?

If so , sureley he should have sensed a trap.

Yeh, Fred was originally in the front of the bookshop. Basically, will's character being alone for 3 years u get a little insane. Like when Fred's head moves abit, it makes us feel the insanity that he's feeling, we see what he thinks he see's since Fred wasnt meant to be in that location, him talkin to the dummy is just a sign of loneliness. He also believes that the deathseekers have no intelligence through the records he makes ,as the reason why he would never have thought it to be a trap.
