People really like our G6E in "Edge" colour.

The only problem I have, if I am telling someone what I own and they can't see the car, is that they usually say "a what?", and I have to explain it's a Ford, a Falcon, a luxury one.

A guy i know with a G6E Turbo has the same "problem". You shouldn't have to...what the hell was Ford trying to achieve by giving it such a bland and meaningless "name"? They dropped the ball big time by doing away with the names Fairmont and Fairmont Ghia...they were names that meant something, that immediately identified the vehicle to even non-Ford owners.
You shouldn't have to further qualify exactly what it is you own...

But yeah, people still really like it when they see it.

I also got hit waiting at a set of light lovely lady(gorgeous really) kept apologising she had a craptiva, but kep sayin I am so sorry you have a sexy car, i know how you feel my previous car was a worked HSV that she was sad to see go.

With my old car (BA XR6 N/A manual)

From many Holden lovers when I would take them for a drive - 'whoa this things goes pretty good".

Had one guy think my car was a turbo cause his 5L as mine kept pulling away.

Also kept getting told how comfy the seats were strangely enough by people would drive jap buzz boxes.

Have they cleaned up the area? It was dodgy but always a lot of fun when I visit Adelaide.

Nah mate, they'll never tame Hindley Street.

I had an idiot try & tell me that the blackout on the bonnet of my XB GT was wrong. Moron.

Usually get positive comments when I have one of the classics out. Although the first thing most people ask is "how much did you pay for that?"

Used to get lots of compliments about how nice and well kept my EA was.

A couple of comments about how my BA 3V exhaust note sounds old school.

Was pulled up at a pedestrian crossing an' this ol' bloke about 80 was wandering across using a walking stick, he pulled up short in front of the Ute, then walked around to the drivers window, told me my 'fan belt was squealing' and to 'get it tightened up a bit'.

I've had quite a few nice comments on the EA. The best is probably "it's one of the nicest EA's out there", people asking if it's an SVO (lol), and people praising the sound, the wheels, and the front bar.
