I had hobbies.
Last few years ... have had no time for them. Wanna crack the 1:10 scale RC drift car out again though. Photography is another one AFF ... actually AFF is the only hobby I get to enjoy. Used to show horses with my wife as well ... but that's probably not going to happen for a LONG time now.

MAAAAAAATE ! get back into it . a HOBBY is what makes you tick , it's one of the primaries in life that makes LIFE WORTH LIVING . i gave it away for 10 years ( bad call) . i once had counsilling , the doc said to me , so who are you , what makes you tick , what eats the hours away without zapping away who you are , at that point in life i was a robot , and had all the wrong answers , as most roles in my life i had to do or be . a hobby is something you do that you want to do , it doesnt gain you monetary or please anybody else , and there isnt enough time for it , it's WHO YOU ARE , ( for that time ) .after a huge accident last year , a friend of mine told me , mate ,you need to build a plane and get back into rc flying . i did and its great . My midlife crisis is going to be turing as much of the house as I possibly can into a train set, without it ending in divorce

Life style more than hobbyis
Cars is up there but old stuff in general so if it's pre 60's I like it, older the better though, I also don't like fashionable stuff from that time. So if we're talking 57 chev I'll take the ford or Pontiac instead of 32 - 37 ford I'll go chev, basically it's got to be different

I'm into music in a big way - have been since I was 5 when I used to play DJ at Mum and Dads parties in the 60's (and ruining the gramaphone a few times in the process...lol).
Sang in a heavy rock/metal band in the early 80's, play guitar and have a CD/album/music DVD collection that covers nearly one entire wall in the loungeroom. Love my music loud , which was probably a contributing factor in 2 marriage break ups. My new woman doesn't complain about my music or cars so its a win win situation. Although my favourite is 70's and 80's classic rock , I love a lot of soul music, motown, blues and, dare I say it, country rock. Looking forward to the movie Rock of Ages when it come out because the music is from bands I loved in the 80's and still do. Also love rugby union, fitness and weight training. Enjoy personal investment and real estate and am active in a few property investment internet forums as well as AFF

I have more than a few. I am a pretty hyperactive person and need something to keep me constantly busy so I will just list a couple.
- Cars - Cooking - Photography (only just starting to get into that) - Arts and Crafty stuff. Quoted from my favourite movie of all time - Shawshank Redemption - You either get busy livin' or you get busy dyin'. Hobbies are great to have and I think everyone should have at least a couple of things they love to do. It helps ease the stresses in your life for sure Cheers Col
