These were mine for the year just gone and I'm actually surprised and impressed at how I went. 2 out of 3 ain't bad! The GT still isnt in the shed but the business is going very well and we ended up buying the house. Happy days.

For 2014 I want to continue to build our business and still go after that GT...

Try to yet again quit smoking

The first two I am sure I will achieve the last one...well...we will see how it goes.

HA! The last one wasn't even attempted in 2013..
This year I am going for the much of the same. Keep my family happy and stress free, be kinder to people.

I am also going to not care what people say or think of me. I will assume nothing and accept everything...life will be more fun that way

Have a great 2014 everyone. Tis going to be a ripper of a year

Cheers

Looking forward to making 2013 a massive year as 2012 didn't bring me much joy or success.
For the majority of 2013 it wasn't a huge improvement on 2012 but finally after months and months of waiting i landed one of the above mentioned jobs in November, back on shift work and the financial gains that brings.

I reconnected with many family members only to remember for some of them why i had shut myself away in the first place overall it was a good decision.

2013 overall wasn't great for me, I've had a couple of rough years in a row and finally things have began turning once i started applying and believing in my own abilities.

I honestly cannot think of anything.

Already given up smoking, lost weight, made a pile of cash, kids grown up all with good degrees (and not on drugs or pregnant girlfriends).

Bloody hell ...Australia is a great place to live, the people are great, life is great.
Opportunities abound.

Hope everyone gets what they truly want....I certainly have.

This post just about sums me up except "the end"

Errrrrr......

1. Cut smoking and give up drugs.

2. Reduce my alcohol consumption of 2 slabs and a bottle of JD a week.

3. Finish my tradies licence. Been doing it at TAFE at night for the last 2 years but usually quit about 2/3 of the way thru each year because I never do the assignments.

4. Start a savings account.

3. Lose my partner (?) who has never had a job. And her son too. Had a few false starts at this

Actually I wrote this for my son who is 35.
Flame me if you want!

I have a laundry list of Resolutions. Usually I have one or two, some years none. But when I make them, I keep then.

2013 was a very hard year for me, mainly financially, which effects everything else. And it's been damn restrictive on my life and VERY VERY frustrating.

This year I'm aiming to change that as well as some other personal goals as well.

Aiming for the stars this year, and if I hit my head on a lamp post and fall back down, at least I achieved something.

I don't think I posted it last year, but my aim was to lose 10kg in 2013.

Done it, from 105 to 95, feel much better. I'll try and drop 5 more this year, will then be 'okay' if not ideal weight. I try to maintain a push up, sit up routine to get the old six pack back, but at 50, seesh, is it worth it?

Cheers,

Madaya

More of the "good loving". Just need to find a willing partner. Any single women on AFF?

Oh how I would love some 'good loving'. I mean it. Why is it, that if I was to ask a girl/woman out for a coffee/lunch/full course meal that she might think - uh oh, he's on the hunt.
I gave up the hunt when I got married (my ex never ever comprehended that fact). I just like hearing peoples stories, whether cool, informative, silly or dumb.
If I just wanted the physical, I'd read the book (the dude who seduced my wife read it and sadly, he was a tool).
If the book fell into my hands, I'd burn it.

On a happier note though, maybe I could touch base with a Ute girl, Ford or Holden. At least we have 1 thing in common.

I'm resolved to meeting a woman I can tolerate.....& to take the boat out fishing as much as possible!

I can do without the first option but the second is a must.

Hey Andy, I gotta ask, when you say you didn't win lotto all last year, does that mean you never won anything at all? (or just Div 1 which seems to elude most folk)

A couple of New Years resolutions for me!
  • Move overseas and gain a promotion!
  • Hit the 2/3/4 for the big 3 lifts! (ie 2 plate benchpress, 3 plate squat, 4 plate deadlift)
  • Play in the state level squash league (if I'm still living in Oz!).

Got a fair bit to achieve. Going to be a massive year!
