The best beer? Well that would be the one that dulls the pain I endure from so so many users on this forum....

Great Lakes Brewing Company's Christmas Ale.

It's a Cleveland, OH USA beer. 7.5% and has some real spice to it!

But if I had to pick a mainstream beer, I like MGD and Miller Lite. I wish they had the stuff you guys drink out here in the states... I'd love to try it. I'm not much of a Fosters fan. ;)

That's a pretty pov **** list. Of the ones listed I guess it would be Stella. Boags Premium is the best of the local stuff.

I think a better poll would be

"What beer do you despise"

(1) Crownies - relabled VB
(2) Corona - no need to explain.

This came from someone that works for CUB - Crownies and Fosters are actually one in the same, not VB. Crownies is taken from from the top of the brew, earlier in the process, Fosters later and is what is on the bottom of the batch.

Still a valid point, just not quite spot on.

Have heard the exact same said except it was VB and crownies... Anyway none come close to Coopers..

That makes more sense. Crownies are hideously over-priced. If you're happy to pay $45+ for a slab of that stuff you need your head checked.

XXXX Gold is not bad if you are just having a few drinks with a meal, especially now that some pubs here in Adelaide have it on tap.

Extra Dry is also good, as is most of Cooper's range.

My favourite imported beer is Beck's. It's funny, I started drinking Beck's about 4 - 5 years ago by chance (got given a 6 pack for b day) and no one had heard of the stuff. Now they seem to be advertising it everywhere and every pub has it.
