I've just read that the Wally Lewis statue outside Lang Park has been vandalised and painted blue.

Yeah, I heard about that on the radio this morning. Wally came on, he was semi-laughing just happy that he can still find a way to get under the skin of NSW blokes 15 years after he retired :P He just wants it to be extra motivation for the guys to go out there now and smash em... The paint came straight off anyhow - no Blue ever was able to keep hold of Lewis ;)

Just came across the story on the NRL website, Elias, one of the biggest tossers ever to put on a NSW jersey does make some decent comments, who for one could say they wouldnt want to see big Webb go one on one with Mason.

This is part of the reason why QLD in recent years have lost their dominance of Lang Park. Bring back a bit of tradition I say, any rookie on the bus would be lying to say they weren't a little bit worried.

Thurston and Hunt had a blinder. Lockyer was at his best, per usual!! Good to see QLD finally turn it around and dominate a game for once. Both teams were sloppy when playing the ball, and a few passes to no one didn't help either.
Bring on Melbourne!!! (Why are they having the final in Melbourne again??? :yeees: )
