Random thought,
Partially as a result of Ford blocking use of T6 Amorok in North America, VW recently acquired Navistar International truck company and now intends to spend at least $1 billion to revive the IH Scout as a new EV brand, Bronco and Jeep getting some competition…. |

If it was one out, more than likely, but I've been through the hail repair centre they have at the old GMH site in Elizabeth and the pure number of cars filing through the place leaves me thinking it wont get that attention to detail.

If you can make the transition for that sort of Money I think its very much worth it to get into a brand new Ranger.
My Prediction is when these things start filling up dealership floors, the market will get flooded with 3-5 year old twin cabs that have been traded. you've been around enough to know what that does to prices

Those Drive prices were always plus Onroads.... Ford aren't price gouging. They have actually reduced dealer margins to keep next Gen Ranger in the ball park. If you look at Toyota Hilux, the Ranger is still good value! Ive still got a V6 Wildtrak on order but no ETA (even tho I was the first to order one in June 2021). Have lost interest in Rangers since I got my new Ram last week

I think the winners here will be existing Rangers selling their vehicles at near new price and buying new without trade. Everyone else will just pay more for used Rangers. |

Stamp duty on $47k for a commercial in my neighborhood is $1380, rego for 12 months about $800 and a set of plates for $30, the other $2.5k is for the wash, vac and windows. |

I seem to recall PJ/PK sales were in the low 1000s a month and slowly increasing.
I made mention at the time on here that it wouldnt be long before the Ranger outsold the Falcon and got laughed at.

If I can get it fixed that is, might put pressure on the insurer to give me cash to the value of repairs as its already been 7 months and theres no light. Then I can flog it privately to some desperado at break even and drop the insurance money on a new one. Hmm, wonder what the going rate for 2 doors, a front gaurd, bonnet and roof skin replacement is? |

Already looked up AFCA this evening, meets all the criteria, pushed back twice, no end date in sight, possible economic loss if I values drop from current while im waiting.

MN Triton GLX had carpet, MQ Triton GLX had vinyl. I had both models.
We have a fleet of SR dual cab Hiluxes. A 2 year old Hilux of a colleague has chrome trim around the grill etc and fog lights and my 4 month old Hilux same shape has black/grey plastic trim in the same spots and no fog lights but I have the upgraded motor so maybe that is the trade off. |
