Say all you want, this rumor was confirmed by an insider as well as another who has been driving an XR8 at the moment, that's how I get the pics and the XR8 noise...
Again I did not say it was official, nor did I say it's a lie. Stop with all the negative comments towards my page, at least i've got 39K + in the know, it has also won me a ticket to the design studio this Friday to meet the designers etc. |

All that happened this afternoon was one guy messaged telling me about it, so then I asked another insider about it (who currently drives the new XR8) and apparently it is an option. Maybe it was a last minute decision due to the feedback of the new spoiler? Wouldn't surprise me.

Ok but is it bigger as in current spoiler size or bigger as in GT size?
What are the tweaks to the front bar?

The only thing I can see ford doing is a sticker pack, GT spoiler and at a stretch, a bumper grille insert. But, a new bumper would be very unfeasible given the low numbers involved and the whole closing down thing...

Something like Nikk said, all I was confirmed was it would be "Bigger spoiler and bumper" which does seem fairly possible. Maybe like a bumper insert skirt or something?

What is an insert skirt? Insert implies inside, skirt implies around the edge...

Auslandau, fair enough, I do tell people I have nothing to do with Ford and try to make things seem not as 100% etc. It also in a way (not deliberately) creates talk and excitement towards the new car.
As mentioned I give you guys constant praise, I think both you guys and my page are really successful in promoting Falcon. I have all sorts of Ford insiders contact me, engineers, designers and all. |

I can only see a change with the grille, perhaps a recessed grille. You wouldn't want any extention under the bar as the damn thing looks like a driveway scraper as it is lol

Didn't you just get back from a ban for exactly that type of posting? Not everyone will agree with you, the sooner you learn that the better life will be.
Great you love it, some others don't. That's life, it doesn't make you more intelligent than the others. You talk about respect, but show none yourself, pot meet kettle.

Seems very unlikely to me.
The guys I spoke to that were driving the cars knew less about them than I did,as boss will attest these blokes aren't engineers or designers they build the things. Everyone I spoke to was going to be jobless when production stopped, and not surprisingly that's what we spoke about the most. These guys are not being given info much earlier than us.

Callum word of advice mate. You're dealing with a large contingent of true believers on this forum, and we're all in different mindsets about FGX. The appropriate way to respond to comments you don't like is to ignore them and not take them personally, just keep participating positively. They're entitled to their opinions too. There is no 'us' vs 'them' here. Its the internet. And it's the last Falcon. Keep up the good work, we're not all PR professionals.

I was implying that social media these days can thrust regular everyday people into 'quasi' PR roles...Callum just owns a page that has actually worked out pretty well.
(just for the record I hate FB with a vengeance, but recognise its place in the world) Anyway,,,,sports pack! Any comments from our Ford guys here? Surely you're having a smoko by now (do they still have smoko breaks???)
