Hi everyone,
My name is Mad Maxine, and I'm a Fordaholic, LOL!
I've been lurking for a week, poring over all the thousands of threads on this site, and loving the stories, wisdom, entertainment, and most of all, the love of Fords that goes with the Territory (pun intended).

Since I got my license in 1986, I've owned and had good times in 15 cars, from my first car (an automatic mini) to my loyal 7m long F350 4WD ute, but the latest acquisition is the car I've lusted after since I was about 12 years old - I can blame this squarely on the movie "Mad Max", which introduced me to the Interceptor.

Thanks to a friend of my bloke's who is moving overseas, a new baby has joined the Ford family: that's her in the avatar pic to the left. She's a '77 XC GS Coupe and I will never part with her. It has taken me exactly 30 years to find her, and with me she will stay, sharing the Man Shed with my '62 Compact Fairlane daily driver.

I'll take some better photos this weekend and put 'em up in the Falcon Coupe section, and I can see me joining the Coupe club pretty soon.

Looking forward to hanging out here and seeing everyone else's pride and joy vehicles.

MM

Hi. I've just cut the garden away from the xp wagon to try and resurrect the damage caused by a lack of a garage for the past few years. A move from VIC to NSW and lack of funds took her off the road for a little while. It hurts to see her resting! So many good times with the old girl, she's calling me to spend a bit more time (and money) on her. Loving this forum! Kowalski's Xp wagon has been an inspiration and I've decided to invest some hard earned dosh on her again. Shes worth it!! Can't wait to do a bit of crusing again.

Currently I have an '06 Impreza RV, but I'm finalising all the paperwork for my upgrade to an 06 BF XR6.
So far this forum's been full of so much useful info, really great resource, I'm hoping that I have stuff to contribute and will be documenting everything I do with my car to help out future newbies (like me!)

Thanks for your response. My AUxr8 ute is pretty much stock except for cam and exhaust (crow cam and pacemaker headers with magna flow 3.5 inch twin system.) Its my work vehicle for my KwikKerb business. I have just bought the ba xr6 turbo and having owned high performance GTR skylines in the past, I am looking forward to doing some pretty serious mods. Love the fact that that ford, fpv, and various other motorsport companies have gotten serious about the capabilities and potential of turbo sixes in the last few years.!!!

Gday all. Joined here a little while ago and have been too busy looking around the site to introduce myself. There is alot of info to take in.
My better half currently has a 08 Corolla Conquest that she has decided that she wants to upgrade to a real car
So off we went to the local dealer and ended up signing away on a G6 Limited that we should be getting around the end of Feb.
She is more the Ford nut than i am. Years ago i was a Holden man, then they made the bloody comodore and lost me in a heart beat. Since then all sorts of cars have graced the parking space untill i got a Patrol which will stay with me. However i have to say that driving the FG really put a smile on my dial so i will be definately be taking the big six off her hands as often as possible.
See you out there.

rick.

“Actually it was just call “Gull”, because I named it that. Because we knew it was going to poo on everything”.

Morning all.
New TS Territory owner from Northern Vic here.
Agonised between the Territory & Ranger XLT for a while but given the long wait to get the XLT I took the plunge & went the Terri.

Been sniffing around here for a couple of weeks & you have an amazing wealth of knowledge here.

Hi everyone, I scored myself an old skool 1981 Falcon XD Ute in November. I love her to bits, but grrrr the man I bought her off was a Holden man and he made her a mongrel. He sold her as an 84, which was incorrect and has different parts on her and has modified different in horrendous ways.
Today went to leave to go to work and lost the clutch. GThort it was the cable as it has required adjusting twice, but seems it may have soething to do with a bush by the clutch pedal itself, and now that sprung itself off and have lost that part in the car somewhere. It has not been a good day!
I so need to find some really clear pics of what the original 81 Clutch Bell housing and the connection on the bar by the clutch pedal looks like. Its hard since she has had all different things done to her. Can anyone advise if this site will have pics for me to get more info from?
