Was there the same hype being that it was going to be the last XR8 at the time?

There was also talk at the time of it possibly returning in the future, so people may not have been as worried about it being the last one ever.

Just a quick one, can anyone tell me whether or not the G6E has different interior material like it was in the FG? I don't recall seeing any pictures of the inside of a G6E FGX

Yeah it was the Xr8 at the ford Launch event.
Just love the FG FPV styling overall and it feels a bit more special to me, having aspired to owning one. I was left a little underwhelmed by the FGX interior given there wan no change, and the exterior I was 50/50 on. I've wanted an f6 or GT335 for ages, and the perfect car came up, low kms at a great price so I jumped on it. |

....... they are replica's!
And was not serious. Of course more were made, but were not many, hence, they disappeared without a whimper.

I'm sure I would miss the Nitro Colour. Nitro was a standout (in my opinion).

Yep, the only one I'll see will most likely be when mine is delivered. Fingers crossed it looks the goods!

I like that Gold in the CGis, but I just don't know how well it will age, like nearly every gold/orange/yellow colour ever on a non-funny car. I'm torn between the two blues and Emperor, good thing I've got months to make my mind up! |

Victory gold looks good in the flesh, it's a bit of a bronze colour.
