I won't pretend to know what that means but the stock market certainly approved.
It wasn't all of their IP, just one type, x86 SoC fabrication for the server market. The market liked it because they are creating a revenue stream from the deal.

Hardly news. Half a dozen would have been built in Obamas time - no big announcement about them then, just business as usual. Is Trump going to tweet every time a building goes up in the US?

I saw a write up of that just today actually, thought it looked interesting and ties into the deep state article from the last page.

I've never heard of John Pilger till now, are you a fan Trump?

Go and check out some of his earlier work, he has some confronting and uncomfortable things to say about our treatment of first Australians among other things.

His work has an agenda (like any documentary maker), but makes me question weather all I think I know is all there is to know.

He is not a fan of American foreign policy, or British or Australian for that matter.

It’s important to listen to alternative points of view, especially when they come for someone who is as well informed/researched as Pilger IMHO...

I think the Trump administration pick and choose what news they like to be honest. Anything else is FAKE news as he says.

Now that the court has upheld a stay on his EO he is not a very happy chappy.

Some interesting developments.

A "resolution of inquiry" has been filed by the House Judiciary Committee against my namesake. Apparently it's the first step to impeachment:

House Resolution 899: A Bill To Terminate the Department of Education:

In the US, it would be for a multitude of reasons. But the cynic in me sees it as purely a financial move, Trump and the sponsors of the bill probably see very little return on their slice of the budget pie, so off it goes. In all fairness, the department only came to being in 1980.

The Trump Administration will appeal. The 9th District Court has no jurisdiction in the temporary immigration ban.

https://gowdy.house.gov/media-center...peals-decision

Strange when the Obama Administration placed a 6 month immigration ban from Iraq the silence from the tolerant Liberals was deafening.

It isn't really the Nazi anthem, that stanza predates Nazi Germany by many years.

No but it is the anthem of the era that was changed at the end of the reign
