Sorry but I feel the less crap I have on my windscreen to distract me the better. I mean, how hard is it to look down 6" ?

Well I've been looking down for the last 50 years and I've never rear ended anyone! (averaging 200,000 k's a year)
I did try a HUD digital speedo with my phone, bloody distracting. I assume that from the way you speak of HUD you've been using it for a while ?

Yep it's great. Shows the posted speed limit. My speed. Sat nav directions. And all media info.
With the current speeding fines and cameras etc. it's a lifesaver. Alerts school zones etc

Yeh I think holden told a few fibs about the GTS power.. Great car. But to be at the top you need MORE power. 400 rwkw is a nice number for a performance car

Smoke will be my colour pick for the new FG X. Love the style of the new rims.

Saw my first FG-X in country SA dealership. They do look MUCH better than the Commy. The rear end treatment, first time I have seen it, is real CLASS !!!

So glad I ordered mine before everyone realised how good Smoke is! Now late Feb for delivery, oh well.

lol, it's my least favourite colour! But it's still a cracking great looking car.
Having said that, my local dealership finally got one in - a plain Jane XR6 in Victory Gold (which looks far nicer in the flesh in full sun than it did on TV or in pics here). Also worth noting that they haven't sold any XR8 and aren't getting an 8 in until March next year, at the earliest. This part of regional NSW isn't enamoured with the FGX apparently (except for me anyway). |
