That square front-on shot is fantastic. The lights sweep back in a lovely fashion, a small thing that adds a lot to the presence.
If I didn't have to keep the damn thing clean, as a daily, I'd own a black car in a second. |

Only thing I would have like to see in the FGX/SZ2 would be a dealer option of satnav.....but wouldn't be the top of priority list.....I guess it would be when you start looking at the crap imports that is for sale out there.

Xr8, xr6turbo, g6e turbo, g6e, xr6 with luxury pack, and lux pack in the ute, and titanium in the territory.
Unfortunately not something you can just add to a non nav model either as the hardware is built into the icc, but the maps are now loaded via an sd card in the centre console. |

Edit: just checked ford specs and below comments...thought it may of been included in all models since the sync2 screen is divided into the 4 corners. Last edited by AUS GRUNT; 03-12-2014 at 09:19 PM. |

Had a look at a base c/c today. Looks great and finally has colour coded mirrors. Just those silly black skirts left to paint. Looks like it will be my next ute. Inside is nice. Has black dash trim compared to the (in my view) ugly dated silver in the xr6. Sync works well and makes it feel not like a base model

Falcon and XR6 are the only ones that don't have sat nav standard.
Here is an extract of an email I have from Ford: Quote:

Currently working in cbd where I can't park my Econovan due to roof racks etc so I I using my car. HATE traffic & parking even on top floor away from every other Fu.'er Gonna buy another car for my wife & use the BA wagon shopping trolley. Leaving our beloved FGF6 safe in the garage. My car is used & some what abused on the track but I will draw the line at it being an everyday unit. Last edited by Blem; 03-12-2014 at 11:40 PM. I would consider premium audio, I'm indifferent about dual-zone climate control but I am not a fan of leather seats whether it's in a Mercedes-Benz W212 E-Class or a Falcon. |

With all the talk about the things that should be there & things that could be better, I'm having visions of a 2017 FG-Y.
Surely the Falcon can't die. It should live forever....shouldn't it? |

Not if it will be an everyday driver and dependant on where you live.If you are in the southern states with the fickle weather you only need to drive it for a day and it attracts dust like a magnet and with a little drizzle your washing again in no time.Having black at the moment i wouldnt go that way again.
