ive been reading this with nothing more involved than just interest
tho i work in transport an a good portion of our work is international and as for container freight breaching quarantine issues , its assessed and fumigated to suit as there isnt only a need to contain the problem but also return the container back to work with in its 10 day free use for destuffing then daily charges applied , its highly unusual for things to breach this period tho if it does at most its a few days due to what costs can be passed on and to whom the costs are worn by as charging for fumigation can be passed on but storage and container holding costs usually cant now if the freight is being customs held thats another thing but is also unusual that so much is being customs held as they only usually hold things not allowed in to the country (and i dont think these fall under that) or things still awaiting for full tax to be paid on and usually thats passed on for payment so GovCo can get their money to add to this i see vehicles come and go and i cant say ive seen any retained for months on end

I have no experience with this mob, but reading through the thread makes one feel sorry for the victims, and that this is allowed to continue with advertising and ongoing business or new victims.
Unfortunately there have been cases when scammers or crooks threaten or take legal action against people that give true (negative) reviews of a poor service. It doesn't look like that is happening in this case, simply total lack of communication. It looks like the company has a facebook page, but it hasn't had any new updates for a long time. The updates from 2018 was just excuses for why there was no communication from them, such as storms, blaming the phone provider, etc. Interestingly, Just Cars magazine (JC) has placed a 'like' on this company's facebook page which gives some credibility they don't deserve. Have you tried to report the Facebook page for the business, perhaps you can succeed in having that page taken down? We could also try to start a 'call Just Cars Magazine' campaign by the members here, and try to influence them to decline ads from this business. Cheers, |

Hey Guys,
Sad but yes - I'm also on the list for this MOB. I've read all this thread and on other forums, the more I read and find the more its upsetting. I like your self have had all the responses also Its arrived and waiting release and requested to pay Quote vs final bill was big difference and they would not respond or provide valid documentation. 2-3 wks go by. I once again have to follow up and now I'm told it with customs and quarantine, 2 wks since then has no gone past and its all radio silence. I've reached out to a few guys on here who have also called out this and would like to discuss with them also. They hold you over a barrel to pay with in the week at it with be released or you will be hit with storage and no release paper are provided to you unless you pay. So yes I have now paid in full and have received no item, no papers, no nothing and its now boarding months. Reach out guys and lets talk strategy and close down on this poor industry behavior that makes the real guys operating this industry look bad. USATOAUS, AUSTOUSA, AUSSIE CAR IMPORTS. - This is very poor and you need to come forth to resolve your customer's needs given you have my money in full and have gone all MIA with radio silence and a crappy voice msg we will be back end of SEPT. |

Hi guys,
Fortunately, I have just collected my freight this week! I had a chat with the depot holding the freight, they said Newell’s are very slow in paying them. But it will eventually come. The depot they use are Marine & Auto Depot or Dazmac. Try getting in contact with them and they should be able to tell you if it’s sitting in the warehouse or not! Obviously, the Newell’s are using customs as an excuse for such big delays. I can tell you that probably all your freight is sitting at the warehouse waiting for the Newell’s to pay the bill. In the end, I believe you will get your containers, it will just be a matter of time. Any other questions, feel free to ask. |

Once before on these forums I read about a second hand dealer who was a bit dodgy. It was said that every time his name was mentioned it would bring his name more often or closer to the top if it was ever searched for via Mr Google or whoever and so the bad press would be seen by many more. If this is seen to be the case then I would suggest every post you guys add then it should have his business name included in the post. Of course I may be wrong.

Mine too. I've brought in 7 cars over the past few years and max wait to pick up was 10 days on the last one where a dropkick in quarantine claimed there was dust inside the chassis that had to be extracted. WTF!!! (Obviously just finished reading Mein Kampf and 1st day on the job).

The Epilogue....
The van finally appeared last week after dropping off in LA on the 19 December. My addtional boxes of parts were also present so bonus. This was the original quote below. When you add back the fumigation and GST price should have been $5498. By the way the fumigation for stink bugs ($350) was never done as the vehicle missed the window but thats a side note. Final cost to me was $7551. Main reason was cited as US customs fees although doubtful if any additonal fee was actually incurred. I also agree their first statement that they are different to anyone else particularly if anyone else honours their quotes and timeframes, answers the phone, responds to emails or gives a ****. Anyway lesson learnt for sure, next time do a lot more homework. Quote below. The first thing you need to know about us is that we are different to everyone else! We offer to start to finish services that include the following: - we only pack 2 - 3 vehicles per container (not 4 like most) - we can organize pre-purchase inspections if required - we can assist with the negotiation of the vehicle and secure handover of funds if required - we handle all US interstate shipping - we will do the Vehicle Import Application (VIA) for you - we offer FREE secure indoor storage while the VIA comes through - we offer FREE shipping of most parts with your vehicle - we have 7 staff in the USA to manage the business on a daily basis - we have 5 staff in AUS to manage the business on a daily basis - we use our own uniquely designed rolling racking - we clean all of the vehicles for AQIS (Quarantine) - we offer asbestos testing and mitigation - we do everything to make the shipping process simple for you Your Quote # is BRI1120MX and this quote is valid until December 5, 2018. All prices are in Australian dollars. The cost to ship your 1984 AM General from Los Angeles, California to Brisbane will be A$4,275 in a container with two other vehicles. The quote includes US overland transport with a trusted and reliable transporter, the cost of the import approval, all paperwork with both the US and Australian governments, storage in an enclosed indoor secure facility, up to 2 hours of cleaning and preparation for shipping, free shipment of up to 1 cubic meter of freight, NATA Approved Asbestos Testing, sea transport in a 40' enclosed container, packing and unpacking, all Australian clearance costs and the Quarantine inspection fees and three days of storage in Australia. This price does not include fumigation and GST. GST is charged on the cost of the vehicle and the cost of shipping. |

I’m tipping the only way these are finally getting cleared is when bogus extra payment is made by customers to usatoaus so they can pay their fees and storage bills. Shonky as hell. I know of plenty more people who’ve contacted me with the same problems still. Official complaints have been lodged with national and state consumer bodies. |

I think if your annual business income is greater than $75,000 you have to register and pay GST

They imported a van for me which was 'held up in customs for months' and I was charged over $1k AQIS cleaning fees which I felt was very high. I was meant to have some lightweight style body panels for my '64 Galaxie come as well, but they didn't show up, I now no longer receive responses to emails or receive return phone calls apart from an email in May saying they stuffed up and it's only the second time ever losing parts and I'll get my parts... Do you guys see value in writing messages on their Facebook posts to try and warn others/ maybe force the bastards into delivering on their service promise? Is there any value in talking with ombudsman? |

I have just written a message on the main picture of the USA2AUS Facebook page. Maybe worth anyone else who's not had these guys deliver on their promise comment? I am yet to share the entire page and warn others to steer clear, but will likely do this over the coming day or so, but maybe a case of the more that do this the more likely these guys are to deliver on their service promise? I have the day off tomorrow so will be reaching out to the ombudsman so can keep you all updated on progress in the hope of assisting others to get a refund or their cars/ parts into the country. I can't wait to then use this forum to connect with like minded people and learn about mods and assist where I can |

@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports# Never use this MOB
Hi Guys, Make sure when posting every time in a reply or new post that we all use and share the name we don’t wont others to fall victims too. You can use what you wish but make sure to start and end all posts with the business names all of them as below. @#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports# Never use this immature unprofessional service Back to business, We are all in a mixed bag of issue’s here with @#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports# but we all share the one thing in common. Poor service and Zero transparency to documentation for validation to charges received along with no goods for many months and zero comms once they have your money. For all of us that have paid for the service in full or part because you have requested an explanation via proof of 3rd party documentation and they refuse to provide to you and not received your items. Please lodge your complaint with the QLD. If you want to make a difference it’s in your hands guys https://www.fairtrading.qld.gov.au/lodge-your-complaint You need to lodge your complaint ASAP via QLD first and mostly. We are stronger in number’s with valid proof we have. State the facts, how much money they owe you, goods and services not received when it all started. Take emotions away so they can see the pattern. Encourage others in this mess to do the same or this is all gas bagging on the forum PUB TALK and it will continue to get others and @#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports# will continue to Bait others in when knowing all too well they are incapable to deliver goods and service as they state. For your information and knowledge they fall in this category. @#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports# @#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports#@#USAtoAUS# @#AUStoUSA# @#Aussie Car Imports# Here is the ABN associated with Lawrence Ryan under Aussie Car Imports: https://abr.business.gov.au/ABN/View?abn=32441228536 @Aussie Car imports, USATOAUS, AUSTOUSA, @#USATOAUS, @#AUSTOUSA, @#AUSSIE CAR IMPORTS. - This is very poor and you need to come forth to resolve your customer's needs given you have our money in full and have gone all MIA with radio silence and a crappy voice msg we will be back end of SEPT.
