LOL Everyone thinks the grass is greener on the other side. I can assure you motorbikes are targeted harder than modified cars. To the point where officers are in camo gear hiding in bushes in popular riding spots.

As far as noise goes, I fought the law and I won. Anyone could have done so but nobody bothered to do the hard yards. So next time you hear a bike that is loud, consider this. Some OEM bikes are ADR'd at 108db and are allowed up to 113db legally in Victoria.

funny that, because if you have an accident in a private car park they dont want to know about it.

our locked gate shows are exactly that, invite only and the front gates locked

po po rocked up once and tried to slap a 72hr ban on us

they were politely informed that everyone behind the gate were employed hard working people and no shenanigans outside the gate

The contempt for police who are trying to do their job reveals much about some posters on this forum...

In Victoria if you have an accident and no one is injured, you don’t need to make a report and most times if you do, they tell you not to bother.

The brainwashing they are doing seems to be working IMO...

Backyard or not, IF he was ripping skids like that in the video on a regular basis then I wouldn't blame the neighbours for being annoyed.

I would expect that at the very basic level it would be fall under offensive/excessive noise . I have been told by the police to turn off the stereo (wasn't even my house I pretty sure: )once otherwise it would be confiscated.

Noise abatement direction I think it was called.

Been working odd hours and haven't seen any video of this, but heard a few things.

Is it true that he has an old Neon "chained to a post"...? Honestly?

Nope...can't see any possible way that could go wrong in a suburban yard.
if it was my neighbour the car would meet a sad end late some dark night in a suspicious accidental fire before it inevitably broke the chain one day and came through my lounge room wall...

EDIT: just saw a couple of vids. Yes...if some idiot was creating that much tyre smoke next door to me, something would happen to that shitheap late one night if the police refused to bring a stop to it.

There's "teaching your kids to drive" and teaching your kids to be idiots. You think these kids will grow up and somehow magically not do any more burnouts?
Yeah...sure they will... And for once, a spokesman on Sunrise was right...teaching your kids to do burnouts is not a "driving skill"...
