Only way i'll pay $300 for this is if they name the 'stealth' cars in the extra car pack and explain what makes them so 'stealthy'. The other stuff sounds nice but not $300 nice.

I think it was GT2 that had the rare, carbon fibre cars that would pop up in the 2nd hand garages every now and then, maybe its like them?

Oh I really want the signature edition...but I think the collectors version will be the one I get.

Imagine if you won the AMG..id have to sell the bugger, insurance would be a freaking nightmare at the moment! Id perhaps give it some stick at a track first then sell it...LOL

Im gonna put an order down for the collectors edition. I think the tips in that book will really help along with the 5 bonus cars.

$10 extra is pretty cheap for a collectors edition. I usually buy games from Target/Big W as they never seem to charge more then $100 for a new release game... and mostly they have them new release sales for $75 (Fallout 3, GTA4, Guitar hero World Tour etc.., got them all cheap on new release sales the day they came out)

According to the EB website the stealth pack in the Signiture edition includes

Audi R10 TDI Stealth Model
Honda NSX GT500 Stealth Model
Mazda 787B Stealth Model
McLaren F1 Stealth Model

Having held off buying a PS3 until a date had been set for the release, I am looking forward to the next couple of weeks of haggling for the best price possible!

Some new models have just been announced so you may want to keep your powder dry.

Man, this is gonna either cause me a divorce or I'll have to build up some massive browny points to be playing this so much when it's released. I can foresee many wifey screams, mostly ignored during gameplay, while playing lol

Also it would be a HUGE ordeal to try fit Gran Turismo 5 onto a DVD, not to mention downgrade the graphics to run well on the Xbox 360 system.

They (the ps3 and Xbox360) have very similar graphical power. The ps3 however has a significant advantage in processing power.

$300 is a joke, like most here I am a GT nut but I dont go that far. Most of the bonuses are just cheap looking accessories anyway.

I'd recommend the G25. Works a treat with GT5: Prologue. Fantastic racing experience for around $200 nowadays!!

I've pre-ordered the Signature Edition, and will be getting a PS3 to go with it. Can't turn down the chance to win a SLS Gullwing!!

I work with simulation software and VR developements, so this sort of stuff is right up my alley, so it's a must have for me.

GT5 will definitely be the new benchmark for simulation racers. Cannot wait

$120 is fairly expensive enough as it is for the standard game, but $300 for a signature edition? I think I'll pass. The most expensive special edition I have ever bought was the GTA IV one for $150.

For $300 I would rather GT5 plus another new release. Like Mafia II, or something, and I would still have cash left over.
