Yes I'm happy. I keep looking for excuses to go for a drive. I had to go to the shops at the end of my street and ended up going for a half hour spin. Disconnecting the battery definitely helped, but I think after a while of driving the car, the ecu would learn the new mod anyway. I was impatient.
I'm curious about what time I'm going to run now. Hoping for mid 13's. Maybe....??? :eclipsee_

You all may have to run against the RTV yet - so watch it, OK!

While the basic Ford Six was code named Barra, the Turbo version clearly deserved its very own moniker – again enter Gordon Barfield.
We asked him if the engine had actually been called “Seagull” and how that came about.
“Actually it was just call “Gull”, because I named it that. Because we knew it was going to poo on everything”.

I'm sure you should do better than that. Just don't hit the rev limiter! Change at 5500 to 5700 and you should be fine. Just practice on your launch.

Just relax, you'll do fine. Just breath deeply, and remember to turn off the traction control! :togo:
You don't need to go out and try to break any records on your first run. But I think you will be surprised, once you get that first run out of the way you will be lining up for more. Its strangely addictive.

6000rpm is good cause it should still stick you in the powerband of the XR8.

Just your launch man, it needs work but I can forgive you for the last time out because it was your first time. ;)
