Ha ha yeah thats all that REALLY counts!!

Yeah Halloween is about as Australian as Christmas.

Thats the one WE celebrate because a few thousand years ago some little tacker was born in a stable in the middle east through immaculate conception. Definitely not an Australian tradition, for the 40-50000 years before white man got here it wasn't celebrated once.

I suppose you don't mind cepebrating that one though guys?

I think a lot of these kids are using this night as an excuse to do a little vandalism.
Just wait for the stories to come out.
I heard some on the radio this morning.

I was a 'trick or treater' in my earlier childhood years which it was all fun & games to dress up, go around and collect treats and have a good time.
These days half the kids dont dress up and the tricks are going way too far! I bet there were houses and cars etc vandalised by kids lastnight that take things into their own hands for a laugh.

I gotta tell ya....that girl in the middle even has me nervous!

It's great to see kids enjoying themselves...no matter what the occasion....or the underlying ignorance.

So what?? if the kids want to have fun, so be it...
Its a stupid PC culture at the moment, and if they want to have some fun, all the power to them,
I dont have kids, but being able to see them with a big smile on their face, and having a great night, then i say go for it
Just because us adults think its a load of crap, dosent mean the anklebiters do, believe it or not, its for them, not us....
Its just a bit of harmless fun, and only 1 day a year so stop your whinging

You wouldn't have thought that at Movieworld last night. They held their Halloween bash last night, and we were lucky enough to be there, due to our 13 year old winning family tickets.

There were some big kids out there, and the place was packed. Quite a lot of the time it was hard to tell who weren't staff, as a large number of people went to a helluva lot of trouble on their costumes....whole families too. I wish I had pics ready to post, as I took more than a few of some of the better ones. I noticed a lot of older men and women as withces, skeletons, mummys, and such...was a pile of fun.

I bet all you guys saying that Halloween is American probably celebrate other Americanised holidays like christmas and easter. For the record halloween is crap, same for easter and christmas They all have ancient pagan origins.

halloween is silly
it not even our tradition yet we adopt it as our own

not to mention the little crappers running around egging ppl's cars with their parents cause you refuse to acknowledge them.
