Well done guys.
I have been keeping in touch with the progress of Wades car with the BluePower/ACE family and I can't wait for WSID hopefully next week. There should be other BluePower cars racing on the night to support the show-stopper. You're one lucky man Wade.

Saleen i dont even know how you can compare using NOS to run an 11 compared to what the Bluepower/ACE team have achieved which is a complete engine combo, and best of all Naturally Aspirated. Any Tom, Dick and Harry out there can run NOS through and engine and claim it to be the quickest and/or fastest. What only a select few can do is build a tough engine that has undergone countless hours of R&D, be able to run 11 second quarters and best of all, still remain STREET LEGAL. Yours only satisfies one of the above criteria. Anyway i do not wish to take up any more of your precious time as i realise that you may be late in attending the fast and furious convention discussing the psychological macho effects of using NOS and how to actually make flames shoot through the exhaust when it is activated :

NOS isn't street legal, you use NOS you go into the same category as a turbo or blown car.
So your time to beat is the Bluepower blown ute 10.9 and fastest is Rods TT Boss 131mph.(full weight) I think someone has some catching up to do. PS: how does the NOS perform on the street? Quote:
That Boss that run 11.5 on the NOS probably runs mid 13's on the street.

Congrats on a nice package their guy's, Bluepower/ACE looks like an awesome parternship for these BOSS motors.
Hell this thread is a great laugh, sort of reminds me of the primary school days, alot of folk need to grow up and leave their comments for the track. _2: or don't comment at all. Well done Chris and Craig, you guys rock. :sm_headba Mick

You have to compare apples with apples, what wade's car has got done to it is in a completely different ballpark to putting in a NOS system. The time on NOS was a good one, but Wade's ute was done purely with mechanical parts upgraded for horsepower for the time, along with the setup
Wade, will you be going to the next Heathcote day, it's a ball watching you tear down the strip flat knacker |

Good work on being the 1st 11 sec manual but im sure it wont do the same on the street just as all 11 sec Boss powered cars and knocking Boss cars that only do 13's on the street is that really a smart comment,I DONT THINK SO Last edited by Laminge; 30-01-2007 at 08:18 PM. |

I am not knocking anyones car, NOS is in the supercharger and turbo class thats a fact its goes down as a power adder. Both cars in full street trim, Wades ute will spank the NOS car on the street not unless he drives around with a full bottle ready to squirt on factory tryes I dont think so. N/A the best time that GT has run is what 13.5.

Look how this post has degenerated into a slanging match, once again. There was nothing negative said from the beginning, just praise for the hard work and passion that guys like Chris/Craig put into their work. How did it start to go off the rails, come on!, if you don't like what is said, keep it to yourself or just get out there and do better.

Great effort chris and craig, as usual on the forefront on improving these boss engines. Tremendous result! Look forward to further successes.
By the way, are there any vids of the run? |
