My daughter (12) and I are off to see the Black Eyed Peas in October It's the first band she's ever seen live, she's gonna love it and I'm excited for her. I really like the BEP too so I'm happy to go along and dance like an idiot.

Love Big Trev's list... Lobby Lloyd - the man with the 1000W bass rig!
My live experiences, in no particular order: the Delltones the Choirboys Jimmy Barnes (with Johnny Diesel support - when he was Johnny Diesel) the artist formerly known as Johnny Diesel Kate Cebrano Black Sorrows Billy Thorpe (& Aztecs, and also with other bands) - as often as I could the Baby Animals - every other week the Screaming Jets - when I wasn't seeing the Baby Animals Hoodoo Gurus the Angels Steve Vai Regurgitator Chocolate Starfish Grinspoon Chain Ian Gillan's Toolbox the Stray Cats Suzi Quatro AC/DC - twice Billy Joel Ugly Kid Joe George Thorogood & the Destroyers the Offspring the Tea Party Phil Emmanuel Richard Clapton GangGajang (went to see them 5 times and actually managed to eyeball them once...) Boom Crash Opera the Badloves the Violent Femmes - twice the Cruel Sea iOTA the Whitlams Floyd Vincent and the Child Brides the mob on the "Long Way to the Top" tour Russell Morris, Doug Parkinson etc Tina Arena (the missus made me go) James T & the Last Volunteers the Radiators about 10000 other local acts who aren't "big", and then there were the covers bands....

Seeing as I go to local shows, more bands than I could ever list here. People into music, no matter what genre, should really get out and see local bands rather than wait for international acts to tour. Australia has plenty of musical talent, and you won't see it on TV.

Last gig I saw was Eskimo Joe, at Griffith Uni's Uni Bar, on Feb 23. Before then I wasnt really into their stuff, but once hearing them live (they were great) I started to appreciate their music
