My daughter (12) and I are off to see the Black Eyed Peas in October It's the first band she's ever seen live, she's gonna love it and I'm excited for her. I really like the BEP too so I'm happy to go along and dance like an idiot.

Seeing as I go to local shows, more bands than I could ever list here. People into music, no matter what genre, should really get out and see local bands rather than wait for international acts to tour. Australia has plenty of musical talent, and you won't see it on TV.

Last gig I saw was Eskimo Joe, at Griffith Uni's Uni Bar, on Feb 23. Before then I wasnt really into their stuff, but once hearing them live (they were great) I started to appreciate their music

I couldn't agree more, Local bands need all the support they can get, so go see gigs in your local area!.. New Australian artists, and embrace new acts before they have signed any deals. :

You didn't go to tool in 2001????

You didn't miss much. (I thaught you would prefer to hear that than the fact it was the single best concert i have ever been to)
