I will request a receipt (and then frame it) when it can squeeze $100 unleaded into my car. Will likely be next fill. Could have done it last fill but stopped at $75. (60L @ $1.25)

I paid $1.34 for ULP last night, it cost $54.00 to fill the Vitara!

Fortunally I was able to squeeze 400klms out of the tank, hopefully I can do it with this tank!

Dead empty to absolutely full is around the $110.00-$115.00 mark already.

This is where the Starlet GT EP82 comes in; $40.00 get you a full tank of Synergy 8000 and 550 to 600kms.

Just a quick question regarding oil. I know for a fact that Queensland has Oil fields out near Quilpie that are tapped and capped. Why is this oil not being used? Big business huh?

The demand for unleaded is much much lower in Europe than here.

The majority of people looking to save a $1 or two burn around in 1 litre Ford fiestas with diesel motors.

Infact, an unleaded vehicle over in Malta, Italy etc is like a diesel turbo Peugot here, not as common.

People who aren't concerned about fuel prices are either earning way too much money than they know how to use, or have company cars with expense paid fuel.....

There are many reasons why a particular well is not in production despite being classified as an oil discovery.

Reasons can include;

poor reservoir qaulity, poor flow rates, not close to infrastructure there for commercial viability is tested. What you will find however, that because of the high priced oil, many small discoveries are being looked at as they are becoming viable providing the other factors mentioned above aren't negative.

A car like my dad's gf's '01 VW Polo 1.4 auto would be handy now. 45 litre tank, 4.35L/100km economy. 1035km/tank. With last night's local PULP price... 140.9 (Synergy 6000 Mobil), that's a full tank for $63.41. 1000km later... fill up again.

I think the state government removed the gst or some part of the excise.

OK..FUEL PRICES...

These fuel prices are from the same Shell servo in Mt Gambier that we always fill up at. Have done around 3000k in the past 2 weeks!! Damn holidays!!
Last sunday std unleaded was $1.19 pl, Tuesday was $1.24, Thurday was $1bloody39c pl and today was $1.34. Costed me $82 to fill her up today. And that was with discount. I will not fill up 'here' in town, be stuffed if i'll pay $1.44 all YEAR ROUND..!!..
Fuel prices like these make me miss the wifes dead excel.

Excise/GST is not removed, there's roughly an 8.5c/L state subsidy, the highest of all the states.
